Getting rid of Green is probably addition by subtraction. It opens up more minutes for Eason, Sheppard and Whitmore. The 10th pick would have a tough time cracking their rotation anyways.

I think it just made more sense if the goal is to make to at least make another Finals in his career as obv the path in the East is way easier and it also would've benefited the league (not so much us lol) to increase viewership for the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
