Re: Atlanta Hawks Trade Proposal Thread -- Part IV
Off our bench he fits in fine but not as a starter.
If he is going to be depth for the 3/4 positions off our bench so be it. He is exactly what we need. He would be a weapon for us as a 6th man.
25/26: $21,057,065
26/27: $23,062,500

He's better than Caris for sure. Caris may come cheaper though. That said, Cam would definitely be great off the bench as a super sub 6th man.

Pels fan on trade board offers
Yves Missi / #23 for #13
Hawks really have a lot of ways to improve the team with $48M under first apron

I'd strongly consider it...

But politely decline. I'd give up 22 for him though.

As long as our front office doesn't do it we're in good hands.tbhawksfan1 wrote:Pels fan on trade board offers

So, who are you guys so high on at #13 that you prefer that over #23 and Missi?

Any 'wing' player 6'-6" - 6'-9" with ball skills on offense and some defense: Wing is King, size and versatility is what I want at #13.

I'm hoping we go get Maluach really.
Carter Bryant would be a nice consolation. Nique Clifford. Joan Beringer has recently caught my eye.
There are a bunch of guys comparable to Missi that will be available at 22. Giving up 13 for Missi/23 is like saying you would draft Missi at 15-20 in this years draft. He didn't even go that high last year in a weaker draft.

I would have no problem coming out with Missi / Penda / one of Raynaud, Kalk, Yang, Beringer
Missi was forced to start as a rook and played quite well on a disfunctional team

No more trade ideas? Nope. Just waiting to see what players are released
before regular season tip-off.
Hawks might nab someone to fill that final slot.

Re: Atlanta Hawks Trade Proposal Thread -- Part IV
I will offer a trade for OKC/ATL
OKC sends:
Ousmane Dieng, 2026 OKC 2nd, 2029 ATL 2nd
- No minutes for Dieng in OKC even though he shows flashes, he isn't consistent. Can combo with Risacher on wing.
- Pays ATL with 2 seconds including returning their own future 2nd for the ~4M OKC saves this season.
ATL sends:
Mouhamed Gueye
- Signing N'faly Dante makes him the 3rd/4th C + ATL saves 2M next year.
- Dieng can fit into the bench role/replacement for ZR as their game is pretty similar, they might work well as countrymen together.

Mo Gueye is slotted in as the backup PF behind Jalen Johnson. Also Gueye's contract next season is a team option.
Hawks like the defense that Gueye brings and Hawks can use all the defense they can get.

Forgot to add, by my quick calculation: Hawks are currently ~$3.5 mil under the Luxury Tax, this pushes them over, so Hawks won't.

Thank you for the calculation, I might've missed that when I was trying it

Okay, scrap it. thanks for the input I may try another Hawks trade in the future for you!
[picked ATL 4th in east this year, goodluck!]
Cheers
