how did the nets got better, not that i am defending anything, but since kd is gone they are in a worse spot than before too. same will happen to the suns.
Man, Nets got 5 picks. What the **** do we got?

Re: The Official 2025 Offseason Thread Part 3
Lol
What a horrible trade.
1. Gambo now saying Green is staying to play with Booker means they are likely trying to raise his value for hopefully another trade. Suns have 140M on SGs if they keep him past this season. What a joke.
2. Suns couldn't even get ONE of Smith Jr, 2027 First Rounder or 2029 First Rounder.
With 3 SGs shooting the Suns out of games, then those picks remain valuable. Just pathetic.
3. The Suns need to trade Booker before he gets injured. They need to recoup value urgently.

Josh Jackson was pretty athletic too. And Marqeese Chriss too.

Re: The Official 2025 Offseason Thread Part 3
The best option was to just extend KD and kept him as trade deadline asset.... while he's putting up all star numbers.

As Red once said hope is a dangerous thing..

Especially with this cursed franchise

Ishiba saying 28 teams jealous of Suns last season obviously stuck in other owners heads. Because the Suns are at the very bottom.

I honestly believe we could've gotten 1 more FRP if we traded KD at the deadline

Josh didn't even really test out as an elite athlete, that was part of the problem with him. Not really being good at anything was also a problem lol
Greens a real elite athlete and far more skilled. Both seem like knuckheads so that's not great.

With the Suns history of trades it's not exactly a comforting thought. Although at this point I'm not sure the roster could get much weirder so let the trades fly.

Re: The Official 2025 Offseason Thread Part 3
I know this will be against the majority of the board, but I'd look at dealing Beal and the 10th pick for Miles Bridges, Grant Williams, and Mark Williams. The Hornets already tried to deal Mark Williams to the Lakers, and Beal can join the lEastern conference where he can be free to put up points and still lose. Perhaps he can get another contract by playing well.
Ishbia gets another Michigan player and the Suns get a better center than Nick Richards. Suns also save a bit of money in cap space (around $8.7 million).
Booker
Green
Brooks
Bridges
Williams

I wouldn't since the Suns will be so bad without any lottery picks until 2032.
Pick 10 needs to be used for BEST talent possible and hope to draft the next SGA or Haliburton.

it'd be nice to get rid of beal but the williams both have massive injury issues and bridges is a scumbag. rather wait beal out and roll the dice on a young cost controlled talent at #10. Mark Williams is also due for a new contract so if he plays well any cap savings would have to be spent on a new deal anyway
