How does NIL have any impact? lol

Kids are staying in school for a few million rather than entering the draft early if they're a projected SRP, so the talent pool depth is much worse than it used to be in the second round.

Has that trend actually begun, or just likely to happen?

I love that about Riley lol. Neither Dame or KD were big misses for the team they have. They should try to get a top 10 pick in next years draft and then capitalize in 2026 when they are more rebuilt.

He runs a mortgage company that reportedly has a deal with loads of mortgage brokers ,who are supposedly independent, that only recommend his company even though their rates are less favourable. But funnily enough him scamming the public bothers me less than being this incompetent with the proceeds.

Good riddance. Interesting that I thought appeal for Suns trading Durant to Rockets was to get back some of their own future picks but it doesn't look like any of that has happened here. Sucks for them. Looks like a huge loss for Suns to me especially since this trade probably makes the future picks Rockets own that much better. They are beyond cooked if they start the season with Booker, Green, and Beal.

Makes the Rockets easier team to root against.

There can always be talent to be found. Maybe you see more Euro picks

that’s only true in the short term; this year, maybe next year. eventually the guys returning for NIL run out of eligibility and the second round has the same talent pool as you’d traditionally expect. if anything you’ll see more 4 year players who are actually ready to play nba minutes in a bench role.

in the end they probably are going to pay the Nets with the #10 pick to take Grayson Allen into space and get the 19 back. But regardless, why agree to a Durant trade that kind of sucks without working out how the trade can be expanded beforehand. People can see they are even more f’d than they even were before. There leverage is even worse.
