This KD trade was exactly the package GSW should have got for Steph at the trade deadline, instead if adding JB. Then Jalen Green and Kuminga could lead the tank, they would have missed the playoffs, had their own pick at 15, and the 10 pick. It would have chopped two years off of the rebuild timeline.

Problem was and still is that apparently KD was adamant about not wanting to go back to GSW just like he didn’t want to go to Min or NYK either cause clearly they could’ve also offered something equal to this too. Phx clearly did not want to make KD unhappy and say “screw what’s best for you”. I’m sure GSW would want to accommodate Steph too if he ever wants out

I think they meant GSW should have traded Curry for a similar package and started the rebuild.

Jalen Green is not that guy.

If he improves the return is decent but I think the Rockets sold high on a guy who is about to get paid way more than he actually does on the court. Suns didn't get much but Durant doesn't have a long future either. So it's sort of expected. It's funny though adding yet another guard pushes Beal back even further

I seriously think it's gross that he has been with so many teams. It's such a huge detractor for Kevin. He literally hasn't done anything since the Warriors and he should've gone back to the warriors just for the legacy. It's crazy.

The fact that so many on here are so sure Jalen Green is trash and Dillon Brooks is a nutcase with no value makes me like this trade even more for Suns. As always with these types of things, stating anything definitively right after the trade is just stupid. Wait min of three years, maybe five and then grade it.

Typical Suns. Didn't take the best deal. And now we've got multiple layers of redundancy than ever before, though I suspect Green will be moved (and perhaps Brooks as well) once the off-season is in full swing.

Makes me wonder what's on Booker's mind other than another $150M?

Honestly I don’t think he did much with the Warriors either, besides ride Steph’s coat tails. He should have stayed in OKC or gone to a team that couldn’t win without him.
