Panthers aren’t ran by a dude that legitimately kill over at any given second living off past clout.

The Heat love the smell of their own farts. They overvalue their own assets. Then, they double down when they strike out and resign their guys for an absurd amount and regret it later. Their past success has gotten to their heads. Heat culture is great for marketing, but right now it's getting swept in the first round and never having a chance of competing. If we're the Lakers of the East, people would have already been fired. I'm not calling for heads. The player management has just been awful here for years.

Even when we had Jimmy and we were making runs, we didn't like the contracts and were screaming to give Jimmy some help. They didn't have the assets because of their own bad decisions.
Heat Culture

Seeing for how much Durant went i'm glad we didnt overbid. No point in gutting the roster for a 37yo who doesnt guarantee us anything

Quite frankly, I’m so disappointed in all the doom and gloom. Captain Bam is gonna turn it around next year and lead us to top four seed. Expecting an All NBA season from him.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Houston has built a helluva team over the past five years or so. They looked dead in the water when Harden asked out.

Hats off to them.

I wonder how pissed Edrice and Spo are, they were pushing for KD.

To be fair, KD was not named to an All-NBA team this season.

He turned it around mid season last year and you all were still crying, hopefully he’s traded and we can start a rebuild

I mean he missed the cut by like 2-3 games missed lol. He was absolutely all NBA if not for the new 65 game requirement

I wonder how many games he plays this upcoming season. Im surprised Heat were even interested in KD after recently dealing with Butler missing half the season.

Whoever loses the finals likely does so with a major point being bad play from their bigs (Turner/Chet/IHart have all been terrible) send them the Bam offer as soon as the season ends. Trade Spo to the Knicks

I don't rate any of these picks as valuable, it's mostly mid to late round picks when it comes to the Heat. Don't really need another Jaquez or Jovic on the team, I hope they just move the #20 pick.

This team already has Ware, Jovic, Jaquez and some GLeaguers as projects, they aren't resetting, it makes no sense to take on more.

It would be stupid to trade Bam or Tyler after that playoffs performance. Lets get their stock up first. I still have faith in JJJ. Play the young guys. Get the stock up and trade them all. ALL.

Honestly not even worried about the on court product but Beal would have more of a role here and be higher in the pecking order. Beal has 2 seasons on his contract, we don’t have a front office capable of building a contender by next season or the season after so I don’t see anything to really be worried about

Taking Beal on literally adds nothing to this team. Hes paid too much, can't defend, and is worse than both Bam and Herro. He also doesnt play well next to a guy like Herro and we'd then have no way to add anyone to support our new core. 3 max contracts with only 2 all star level players. And once all this sinks in, we wouldn't be able to get rid of him because he's too expensive and has a damn no trade clause.

It gives us assets, which we need, for 2 years of service. What are we going to do in the meantime? Is the NBA going to magically gift us a Luka type player to boost us into contention?

It handicaps us from doing anything with those assets for 2 years.

I used to feel the same way, but in today's NBA draft picks are immensely valuable as trade chips. The Heat are always running with a deficit of firsts, when the name of the game now is stockpiling firsts.

In many ways, the Heat have been left in the past.

Our picks are viewed as garbage late picks when we talk about wanting to trade them for stars, they’re gold when we refuse to trade them for stars.

This. The tweet reads with an ‘and’ not an ‘or’.

Good thing they’re likely 2030 and later then. I mean what’s the alternative? Suck for the next 2 years and just do it with less assets than we could have by adding Beal? What is this front office getting done with our current assets this summer or the next to complete for a championship?
