I doubt it, plenty of offseason left, including draft night. The KD trade is post July 6th technically so can be expanded as well theoretically.

I'm sure Grayson will get moved and probably Royce too to ensure we are under the 2nd apron. I do think we will keep Jalen at least for this year.

Keep all three for this year. Not winning anything anyway so don’t give up a bunch of picks to take on lousy contracts . Unless Riley takes Beal for Rozier and Robinson…. There aren’t good deals

KD is still a great scorer but he’s lazy.

So he's not a Lambo which holds value after all ?

He is a Lambo. But still good value. A 2021 Porsche gt3, Land Rover defender, opportunity to draft another luxury car, and opportunity for 5 more utility vehicles for a 2007 Lambo.
That’s a good return.

Having trouble with them big thoughts, are we mate? Thinking 101, not an easy subject, no wonder you didnt pass - dont worry about it big boy, maybe next year

Don’t know what you’re talking about. You sound like a clown though. Maybe you just can’t read.

Beal is staying unless he is willing to let his family stay in Arizona and go chase rings but I doubt it.

Family comes first.

Dont tell me that RJ and 9 wouldn't have been better than this. Or basically anything that was kinda rumoured. 2 idi*ts who cant play nba basketball with bad contracts. wtf

KD didn't want to go to Raptors and the difference is not that much.

Probably wanted to part with KD on good terms.

Also entirely possible that the deal was only on the table from the Raptors if Raptors got some sort of approval from KD/his camp.

But yeah RJ probably the better player right now but Jalen is younger and draft pick is only 1 better. And Brooks is a solid contributor that can be flipped to a contender later at worst

Who the F cares where that spineless coattailriding b1tch wants to go??? Who the F?
Difference is that we would have gotten a somewhat valuable NBA player, and a better pick. Now we have 2 untradeable clowns and a worse pick.

I personally am fine rolling with Green, Beal and Booker this year over doing something stupid with Beal and Green. The team is not going anywhere this year. Don't overpay to move Beal -- next year he becomes an expiring. See what Point Booker can do.

If RJ and 9 is all you're comparing to, I'll take Brooks and 10 any day of the week.

All the Beal buyout/waiving talk is so insanely stupid and short sighted. Would be so typical of this impatient FO to hamstring our cap for 5 years for short term relief

Oh wow, thats a bad take. Brooks is a clown that noone likes or respects in the league. He is 29 on a bad contract, and shoots 42% from the field and 35% from 3 for his career. He is like 6'5, doesnt rebound, gets as many assists as turnovers, not athletic, basically no improvement over his career. What is there to like about him or his play? Turd on a stick. Clown, wannabe toughguy who is not tough. He is a joke.
Meanwhile RJ 25, on an OK contract, athletic, averaging 20+/6/5 for basically the last 3 years... not sure what to say about that opinion...

Yes. Suns have given up too many assets already to try to get rid of Beal and adding more assets.

Beal is good for 17ppg 4rpg and 4apg off the bench. Just need to keep him healthy. Huge expiring in 2027.

Well you're gonna have to learn to cheer for Brooks, just like Crowder when Suns got him in 2020.

Brooks is not on the court for his talent, its for his hustle, defense and enforcer type role.

Admittedly should have clarified, I'd rather have Brooks if Im trying to raise my ceiling. If I wanna be good, or trade him to a team that wants to be good, he has more value IMO. He is an elite defender against anyone who isnt the absolute quickest of athletes (like, he eats Wemby's lunch, for example) and has turned into a good spot up shooter from 3.

RJ is still young enough to improve and change my mind I suppose, but right now hes kind of a guy who needs the ball to be effective but isnt quite good enough to warrant that on a good team.
