The time to complain about the Presti approach was last off-season and trade deadline. That was when trading picks to improve championship odds were a possibility. Now you just have to watch the team play a game 7 at home and see if they continue to win every must win game they face.

you hate Presti so much that you make dishonest posts because you know I can't say OKC wouldn't be in a game 7 if he made more moves because nobody knows what would have happened. I think Presti had a great offseason and adding Hartenstein/Caruso was key to our path before tonight's game. I don't think we would be competing for a championship without them.
That being said I think Presti messed up at the deadline because he should have added a veteran back up PG. I have no clue if he thought Ajay was gonna be ready for the postseason but we truly lack another pass handler but again nobody knows if it would have been enough to win it all. Overall I think he put us in a great position to win a title. Our players deserve some credit and some blame that aren't related to Presti or Daigneault.

Just to be clear. If ANY GM in the NBA tells me they are expecting a rookie 2nd round draft pick to be a significant contributor in the playoffs when they have the assets to get a proven veteran for that spot I'm calling for them to be fired immediately. I would hope that anyone who wants their team to win a championship would feel the same way. If you would like to make the case that you believe that Presti was convinced that SGA, Dort, JDub, Chet, IH, Caruso, Cason, Wiggins and Joe was a rotation good enough to win a championship so no additional pieces were needed then you can make that argument and since all of them have playoff experience and showed some level of competence there in the past I can accept that argument. I made it clear that I disagreed with it at the deadline and that OKC needed to upgrade their playoff rotation, but I understand the argument.

We saw last year that SGA and JDub was no enough ball handling in the playoffs. I'm not going to say trading Giddey for Caruso was a bad trade. I am going to say that trading your second best ball handler and not adding another competent ball handler was a mistake. It sounds like you agree with that and we are pretty much on the same page. If OKC had put Cason in a position to be the primary ball handler during the regular season and forced him to develop some more of those skills then there could have been an in house solution to replacing Giddey in that role. Cason isn't ready for that role. I'd actually find an argument that he thought Topic would be on the court for the playoffs as a ball handler off the bench more convincing then one for AJay filling that role.

No in game whining from me tonight because I'm gonna be on high alcohol and benzodiazpines levels so good game everybody. It was a stressful but fun season and I'm glad old and new members came to share their feelings about the team. I know all season will come down to this game and I probably won't watch our team for 10 months if we lose but it was still a fun ride.

Last bad and terrible prediction: Lu Dort Giving us the chip.

I hope our guys have more resilience and fight than me. Losing game six isn’t bad in itself but to turn out that kind of performance with a chance to win an nba title, just blows my mind and shatters my confidence for game seven. If we do end up losing, I’m glad it’s to a a small market like the pacers and not someone like the Knicks or Celtics.

Desperately searching for a new jersey to buy, since none of my other jerseys have lead to luck. Hard to find stuff in stock in Dallas.

I've got confidence in the team but I'm going to enjoy it either way. This should be a fun night.

still want to say that I'm proud of our team before some **** happens and I don't want to watch them for a long time.

I also see a ton of Chet haters but can't forget that dude had a terrible injury and lost a ton of strength.

Good game guys.

Just to throw it out there for you, there is already OKC 2025 Champion t-shirts, hats, etc. ready to go and they will be on the sidelines ready to be worn for post game interviews if they win.

Neither Cason , Ajay or topic was a sufficient answer for our ball handling needs by the trade deadline.

Not enough reps , not enough reps , still injured was my assessment .

Never wanted a sports win more than this. It’s not even close. My passion for my other sports teams doesn’t compare to the thunder.
