Get rid of beal with picks and pick up Westbrook for vet minimum

If Beal is amenable -- how many picks are you willing to give up? I would give up 29 this year or 2027 FRP and a couple seconds

Granted, it will probably take 2027, 29 this year and multiple seconds
I would need to see the players. Rozier and Robinson for sure

I don't think we have a 2027 first do we?

They do but its locked from trading by Stepien rule at the moment since they dont have a '26.

Worst trade I've ever seen

The KD trade absolutely ended up costing the Suns everything.

Just keep Green. He's 23 and Booker will be asking out this time next year. Might as well have a SG there already.

The only thing that they can do to **** this up worse is to take Jace Richardson at #10.......

Sigh.

This is another reason to not trade Green. Booker might be gone in a year.

Jace would be terrible at 10

I feel like we are officially the dumbest organization.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

After having a few more hours to stew on the trade, I kind of like the direction the Suns went with this deal. They got Jalen Green, who was the 2nd pick in a good draft, who is still very young at 23 years old. Dillon Brooks, who is a defensive leader and is 30 years old. And then obviously the 10th pick. The Suns had started the rebuild last year drafting Ryan Dunn and Oso, so the Suns are playing this from both directions, trying to get younger players while simultaneously still trying to put together a team around Booker.

The problem with the trade is that the Suns have 110m tied up in Beal and Booker at the SG and now that is 143m
Brooks is a very good fit next to Booker

So you roll out Booker, Beal and Green -- is what it is. Don't be stupid Ishbia

Yup, just play Beal off the bench until his deal runs out

Gambo says Beal is traded or waived so my thought is he did something to rub Ish wrong. Maybe making $50 million but playing every fourth game?

Wonder if the Pelicans would do Murray and Olynyk for Beal -- if he accepts the deal. Gets them an expiring in 2027. cash wise very similar deal. Murray is out this year I believe

Similar vein, if we are fine trading for injured guys. Beal for Dame? Think bucks were a team Beal was rumored to waive his NTC for?

(Bout to give GoK a heart attack)
Or Beal and the 10th pick for Claxton, Cam Johnson.

I actually don't hate that one. Dame is out this year so you don't have the overlap. He expires the same year as Beal. And he might have more trade value in 12 months than Beal would.

Plus, there would not be the logjam with Booker, Beal and Green in two years with Booker, Dame and Green

That is an interesting thought though.

Green
Booker
Brooks
Dunn
Richards

Trade Allen or Oneale and our later pick for a Center.

So our forwards are Brooks & Dunn. Not bad.

That’s pretty funny.

I doubt Beal goes to Brooklyn and I am not sure they do Claxton and Cam for him

Cashwise - very similar but gets them an expiring a year earlier

I just don't think Beal goes to Brooklyn - but a pretty good idea

DUDE CLAXTON SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! He is just as good as Richards.

Give me Beal and 10 for Markannen or Beal and 10 for Ball Vucevic

I would take either one of those. I also know you guys like Ryan Dunn, but if we can get someone great for him, I would be open to it.

Suns would have to take PWill in the Bulls trade but you are getting PG (team option), Center (expiring) and PWill (PF - sign for four more years but at the same price as stretching Beal)

Might not be the worst use of trading Beal but again, would he go to Chicago. For the 10th pick and probably a couple second rounders
possibly might work. Ball with Booker and Green would be pretty solid

Might be able to trade Vuc for a lesser contract to save some cap space

I stopped staying awake late at night to watch since last season. Not **** worth it. I can watch in the morning anyway.

I do miss having a team to root for though.

I was kind of ready for all outcomes honestly. I don't think this was the most we could've gotten but I'm not too torn up over it either. It'll take me a bit longer to process this but off the top I'm not excited about Green and I think he's a poor fit next to Book (forces Book to play more PG). Hopefully he can show a more mature game but right now I'd probably prefer he get moved to a 3rd team.
