Looks like the Suns are looking to maybe blow things up. Interesting to see where Beal ends up next, doubtful any team will trade for him, just wait for him to bought out and signed for free

If Beal knows this, he could say no. Then Suns would have to choose to keep him or waive him, giving him the full amount plus the freedom to go where he chooses.

Beal is trash, have fun trying to dump him without attaching assets.

Doubt he gives much of a discount on the buyout.

Yes try and trade him but would be and awful decision to buy him out and stretch him so he effect the cap a lot longer then the next two season.

If you can't trade him then you bring him off the bench as the 6th man moving forward,if he had issues with that or cause problems in the locker room you send him home for the remainder of his deal ala what the Knicks did back in the day with guys like Curry & Marbury.

Imo, a team that has a nice young core with a need for a veteran guard should really take a bite at Beal. Maybe the Wizards, but the real ones know that Portland is the Wizards west.

He won't waive his no trade clause again so might as well just say they're going to buy him out.

Do they want to stretch the $110 million over 5 seasons? It'd be $22 million dead for 5 seasons. Unless they wanted to split the final season into 3 more seasons at the end.

So take the lumps for 2 years up front or potetinally have a dead cap hit for 8 seasons.

Suck it up with Beal for 2 seasons. Buying him out is idiotic because you’d have 25 million of dead money between him and Beal and that goes on for 5 more seasons. WTF

If I'm the Suns I just bench Beal, try to make his life hell, and let Jalen Green average 26 on a bad team to get his trade value up.

You think the Suns will really buy out the two years 111 million left on his contract?

Michael Porter Jr and Zeke Nnaji for Bradley Beal and Ryan Dunn

I still don’t get why they traded for him in the first place.

All while extending Booker for $150M/2 seasons?

I mean, it's Ishbia's money and if he's willing to pay for addition by subtraction to remove what feels like some team/player friction, then Green slots alongside Booker.

Suns got one of their picks back from Rockets in the KD deal, but they still owe significant draft capital to them so I get the aggressive moves (even if it's what got them into the Beal mess) to stay competitive.

Ishbia wasn't involved enough. Apparently.

I'm sure KD will get an extension soon, but I think there's a chance that things don't work out. After all KD is soon to be 37 years old.

They'd need to attach that 10th pick to trade him, and he has a no trade clause and apparently loves living in Phoenix. The buyout is the only option.

Nuggets would need a lot more value coming in and salary going out, so it becomes a very difficult trade to make.

Suns are a disaster class in asset management.

The next two dumbest things they could do would be too

1.) Buyout Beal
2.) Give Booker 150m

Which seems to be exactly what they want to do.

This team might not have hope at the playoffs till 2034.
