Name the 1 player you want, 1 player you don't want, and the 1 player you think it will actually be.

I’m getting my hopes up that Maluach will be there.

9. Tor - KM
10. PHX - Queen/Asa … although i could see them reaching for beringer

My guess right now...

1. DAL - Flagg
2. SAS - Harper
3. PHI - VJ
4. CHA* - traded to BKN - Ace
5. UTH - Tre
6. WAS - Fears
7. NOP - Kon
8. CHA - Maluach (since the relationship with Williams & the franchise is ruined)
9. TOR* - traded to ATL - Queen
10. PHX - Jak

We trade back to 13 to take one of Bryant, Essengue or Coward and then one of Wolf or Yang at 22...but man I'm still deep down praying we get Maluach, I just believe in his potential here.

Can easily see this. So far though iv only seen atl liking KM (would be a nice lob threat for trae) and chicago likes queen

I can still change opinions but right now it’s :

Player I want : Carter Bryant

In reality it’s CMB but I know how unpopular he is on this board ;)

Player I don’t want : Derik Queen

Player I think it will be : Derik Queen (if Maluach is gone) or Wolf/Newell if we trade down

If he is available at 9 Masai going to run/teleport himself from the CN towers to the Barclays center in time for Silver to announce the pick.

If the Raptors are extending Jak, then I don't see them taking a center at 9.

Not sure why everyone thinks it will be Maluach/Queen.

Maybe with a trade down you take Asa/Sorber with the later first.

Why invest in a back up center with hopefully the highest the raps will be picking in a while. They definitely would draft a wing if they stay at 9.

That's pretty much where I'm at assuming no one falls. I think it's Maluach or Queen.

Because developing a center (Especially if 18 years old Maluach ) can take a long time .

Also we have a hole at backup C. Therefore it’s very easy to plug and play a center in our rotation.

With Poeltl, there is no urgency and we can take time to properly develop our new draftee.

List of best centers is franchise history:

Gasol
Jv
Jak
Backup Serge Ibaka
Rookie Marcus Camby?
Bismack Biyombo?
Antonio Davis playing out of position?
Bebe?

Am I missing anyone?

Yea I think we can afford to develop Maluach.

I like Yang. Alot of scouts seem to think he's not NBA ready. He doesn't use all that size in a physically dominant way. Interesting player though. Maluach has a more direct path to NBA success IMO.

I like Harper, Ace, VJ, Tre and Kon w fears close. Any of those guys. Top 7.

If one of them doesnt fall to 9 id trade back for sure. Get future picks for a big fish

In my opinion, you trade down to gain additional assets instead of spending a top 10 pick on a player of Maluach’s calibre.
