Jaylyn Sherrod now hurt too. Liberty with 3 players on the bench.

Johannes is on fire, and beating a team with Stewie and Cloud is always a tall task.

But if the Storm can't pull this off at home with the LIberty so banged up, it'll be hard to think they are a real contender.

Stewie has been on the winning side of 17 straight LIberty-Storm games. Whatever the injury situation, this would be huge for the Storm.

You'd think somebody would be calling the Mystics at some point. It's become the Shakira and Kiki show.

Big Mama Stef is barely playing at this point. Engstler never really has, which is a shame.

Even Aaliyah Edwards is having a hard time getting minutes lately.

I would take Big Mama Stef back TODAY if we can. Jonquel is out for a month plus.

I'd also be curious what the Sky would take for Elizabeth Williams.

Though I could understand if she's not available. She's a fantastic reliable 3rd big with developing kids

And the Sky have no reason to tank.

But with Jeff, it's always a good idea to poke around and see if he'll do something stupid.

Love this with Nneka and Skylar.

I'm not technically a Seattle fan (grew up in NC before the Hornets* and Panthers, and never built that "team for life" gene).

I'm a Seattle fan for as long as Skylar and Nneka are there, though I do like the organization generally.

*Well, not really for the Hornets, but they were gone and then became the Bobcats still in my youngish years (did love some of those Bobcats teams though). Between what's gone on with NC teams and have been living in VA for a while now seeing what Commanders/Redskins did to their fans during the Snyder era. I can see why it works for some to have lifelong teams, but I prefer sticking to 1-year deals rooting for players and organizations that I like.

Anyway, love the Nneka/Skylar pairing, especially as a couple of older, underappreciated players taking a shot together.

Speaking of being a nomadic fan, my favorite men's basketball team of all-time was the '06-'07 Warriors.

On that topic, cdubbz, I see that the Chase Center is apparently booked up for the early rounds of the WNBA Playoffs.

How great would it be for the Valkyries to cap off a magical season with a Playoff game (or 6) in the Oracle (or whatever it's called now)?
