And really - so you stretch Beal and you sign a player. Aside from signing a player at a position that might help more - hard to think that player will be better than Beal - if healthy. Ott can roll out funky lineups this year. Give me the big expiring contract over a short term move and being stuck with a bunch of dead cap when you might be a better team and need that $19m

We aren’t going to the finals anytime soon so to be honest, funky line-ups or no funky line-ups, it doesn’t really matter. Might as well just keep Beal.

Two years to Ishbia might seem like a long time but nobody is expecting this team to win this year. So thats one year down. Than it becomes one year versus four years. The one trade that made sense was the idea of Dame for Beal

Can anyone here tell me what the “vision” of this team, that the owner and his people have for this team?

Quite frankly, it feels like we have the worst owner and worst front office in all of sports. If there is a worse one, please fill me in on it.

That’s literally the only plausible trade that actually works for both teams and both players.

“Because the Suns-Rockets trade will be a July 6 deal (has to be because of Jalen Green's poison pill in his rookie extension), I have a feeling this trade will eventually expand.”

Will the expansion be to move Beal or Green

Personally - keep Green unless you get similar talent as Green

It makes sense for the Suns. Clears the log jam this year and Dame is your Pg

For the bucks, well with Giannis, can’t waste a year

Would the Suns need to include picks?

Didn’t Gambo just report last week the Suns priority was to move Booker back to solely Shooting guard. Now Gambo is saying the suns want to keep Green which would force Booker back to PG (which we all know doesn’t work).

What are we doing? What is the vision?

The vision is to piss off Booker enough that he'll demand a trade. He'll then give a list of two teams who don't really want him, unless it's for pennies on the dollar, but we won't entertain other offers because 'we want to do right by him'. Then we'll proceed to trade him for a bad contract of a player who we postionally don't need, and our own pick back.

It seems to be the prefered tactic of our front office.

Beal and some draft capital (coming to the Suns) for Lillard would be okay for Suns as he is not playing in 25/26 after his recent achilles tear.

The exciting thing about being a Suns fans is the vision is some crazy acid trip that no one can predict. Keeps us on our toes.

Anything is possible
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Me too but I think the reason it doesn't happen is because it doesn't drop our salary and I get the impression that is the key reason we want to move on from Beal.

Gambo talks so much that he’s bound to contradict himself. I only value his info if he’s reporting something that’s either happened or heard the principle of a deal is agreed upon like this morning.

I’ll say he’s seems to be reliable on draft stuff for the Suns and Cards.

What better upgrade are the Bucks going to make besides adding Beal?

Qwigglez wrote:Is it possible to trade Beal for Lauri if the Suns give up the 10th pick? Would Beal approve, knowing he'd get bought out by the Jazz and a number of teams were interested in him for the MLE? Would the Jazz be willing to move Lauri for that?

Not worth it imo.

1. You're devaluing the #10 pick with Beal
2. Lauri is overrated at this point. He put up great counting stats three years back (and the year before he was nice too) but it was also on a fairly mid team that lacked high end scoring talent (Jordan Clarkson was the next man up) and he's turned that into a max contract.
3. I'd rather stick with Beal and have a value rookie scale contact we'll have control of for the next 5yrs in the #10 pick

I think he's also fairly reliable when it comes to striking down rumors.

We are not trading the #10 unless we get a proven player. Stop the insanity.
