Unfortunately this chip for OKC now will now always have na asterisk attached to it. This socks big time

Every ring has an asterisk if you ask the haters.

It's not just the haters, it's the reality of sports, especially nba basketball where every series is long.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

I've had that happen before playing tennis. It's excuriating and it bruises immediately.

Was that your calf?

Yeah I thought he popped his calf but everyone is saying achilles now

The Siakam HoF argument is going to be pretty damn nice if the Pacers can pull this off

It's the NBA Finals, no guarantee you ever get back there. Probably also a bit easier to chance it with the long term contract secured.

Hali just tore his Achilles. That’s game. And now he’s out for the majority of next season. The NBA Gods are cruel.

I wonder if he just takes a **** load of painkillers etc, and just force himself to play. That would be crazy.

Don't care about what the players says or what he feels like. Just sit him down

It's Game 7 of the Finals. Not happening

Game 7 of the Finals is the worse possible time to do a probable serious injury. My heart goes out to Halliburton. He is totally crushed and heartbroken

If we win I won't care about an asterisks. I just wish we didn't see a significant injury in this moment.
