We are in a good spot but it could have been better with better management.

To be fair...

OKC in 2022 was not really a true 24 win team. They shutdown a bunch of healthy players, including SGA, and closed the season 2-23 over their final 25 games. It was one of the more aggressive and brazen outright tanking we've seen in a minute.

Indiana traded three first round picks to get Siakam last year which is more or less the equivalent of the Bane trade for the Magic now. I also don't think, even though they've had a truly amazing playoff run, that Indiana is actually a team that is actually going to contend for multiple championships. They were 9th in offense, 14th in defense, 13th in NET this year. This feels more like an all-time heater than the start of a team that's gonna kick ass for years to come.

Houston has managed their situation quite well.

Well... now that Hali just had a career altering injury, you're right about Indy. F***

I hate it for Haliburton, but we'd be lying to ourselves if we said this didn't significantly help the Magic for next season.

The East is wide ass open next year.

Boston and Indiana's best players are out for next season.

MIlwaukee's in flux with their franchise player and Lillard's gonna miss most of the year too.

New York fired their coach and has some real issues defensively.

The Magic need to stay as aggressive as humanly possible on the margins and try and win the conference next year.

Hate that for Hali man. Also don't think he would've sat out even if they told him he had a 50/50 chance to risk tearing it.

Because, and no disrespect to Haliburton who I respect very much as an athlete, but I'm a fan of the Magic and not the Pacers.

And the Pacers were better than the Magic this season.

It's relevant.

Rooting for the pacers, having to deal with these chet and Jalen Williams stans is annoying enough..... Pacers fans more tolerable, that mathruin agenda ended very quickly and they never brought it up again... Respect that

Brutal for Hali and the pacers, my first thought was…probably should’ve kept him out….then my brain caught up to remember that this is game 7 of the finals, if this is not a good enough reason to risk injury then nothing else is.

Obviously there is an argument for injury altering his career but I feel like this day and age guys can come back just as good with today’s medicine and recovery plans.

Especially a guy who is not overly reliant on athleticism.

Godspeed Halliburton.

I hate that this happened but it is what it is. Its 100% torn Achilles. He should never have played with that calf strain. Thats a risk the team was comfortable with him taking. No Hali or Tatum next year wow

Pray for Hali. It is not good. But if Indiana can win this, it would be a real surprise.

Someone on the GB mentioned that they (Hali and Tatum) train with Drew Hamlin… any of our guys train with Drew?
