It's also affecting superstars, not role players. I don't know what that signifies, but think it's worth noting.

Neither of these teams are very good.

OKC being allowed to play a different sport with all the hacking and body checking is bizarre.

My "no sympathy" thought isn't aimed at Hali personally. I don't like any player getting injured.

The Bucks playoffs have been derailed by injuries more than any other team. So no, I'm not shedding tears for Indy tonight (who may still win this). If that somehow makes me a "loser" so be it.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Why though and why almost always top players?

They have the ball more and are making those cuts more?

Pacers trading #23 for their '26 1st back was a shrewd in case of emergency move, if the risk of Hali getting hurt was part of the calculus.

Pacers definitely still have the team to win this. McConnell, Mathurin, Nembhard, Nesmith, Toppin could all step up. Have 3 or 4 of them get 10-15 and a 20+ pt game out of Siakam and they’ll be in a good shape. Not watching, but what is up with Turner two games in a row now?

Karma makes no **** sense though. Why because they beat our ass and talked **** like most NBA players do? That's weak.

A lot of bad basketball tonight. No one is stepping up. Makes me appreciate even more Giannis going for 50 to win the title.

I think because I know first hand how hard it is - especially as a small market team - to get to this point and win a championship, I do have sympathy for them, and especially him. Then you add in that we went through it with Dame like 2 months ago (or whenever the hell R1 happened). That just sucks, man.

I still think Indy can do this. Pascal's their best player pre-crunch time. They've got a bunch of guys capable of going nuclear, too.

ETA: I still don't care about either of these teams, mind you. But it's been a compelling series and I want to see it end well.

Counterpoint: both teams are playing GREAT defense in my opinion. This has been good basketball to me.

If OKC offered Jalen and Chet and 7 firsts for Giannis, I think I’d pass

Not sure how many other teams can hang around like Indiana are doing here. Also says a lot about how ordinary and limited OKC have been offensively as well.

That's absurd to give Dort that call.

Grotesque flop from Dort. That should be a technical on him.

Refs are an actual embarassment. A good 10 points have gone OKCs way from pure **** reffing.

FVV and inshallah in crunch time was tough to watch.

The question is though what was PHX strategy here?

Phoenix strategy seems to be taking acid and throwing **** against the wall and hoping a Picasso emerges.

Suns definitely in the running for most abused fan base. NBA has a few so it's tough competition. Lol
