No they are not. He was injured. They allowed him to play with the injury. The injury just got catastrophically worse.

You can clearly see the tape on his Achilles.

We need Duncan's money savings just as bad as anyone else and maybe that's our reluctance to include him in any deals that involves dollar for dollar. His 10 million in savings means just as much here because the moment we sign Davion Mitchell we are pressed up against the tax line again. Riley stated that this was going to be the year they will be looking to reset the repeater tax clock. Duncan's 10 million gives us the wiggle room to sign our draft pick if we do make the pick but the one thing that gets tricky is we really can't just trade it for a similar contract giving the other team the full savings without having to dump a contract to stay under the tax. Rozier's contracts currently says 26 million due to incentives but he's really valued at 24 at the end of the year. We should be able to dump his contract out for someone like Holliday or anyone looking to dump a contract that has some financial constraints. Rozier and Wiggins are going to be the two main trade pieces this year that will help flip the chairs a bit without having to give up picks and young talent. Wiggins will be valued still by contending teams especially ones that have gone up against him in the West that need defensive wing help.

If you say it enough times maybe it will magically become true lol

I don't know why we have to do this, but it's really not how Achilles tears work. They’re sudden, explosive injuries that can happen even without warning signs. Taping doesn’t mean there was a serious issue, and you can’t just assume this was preventable. Blaming the coach or their medical staff is pure hindsight and ignores how these injuries actually occur.

The Warriors front office really did not want to give him up and he was well liked and respected in that Locker room. Just because he sucked here does not make him unwanted around the league. I'm sure the Laker fans are saying the same thing about Gabe Vincent and Hachimura and would love to swap them out for Wiggins. Maybe a good change of scenery deal helps all involved here

Does that twitter guy mean that contract of 2 years 120 million that the Warriors fans are dreading at the moment? Guy flat out no showed in the playoffs, curry needed butler to get ONE win for he can join them and he flat out rejected to take shots or play aggressive at all.
Oh and he was unmotivated to play when he was on the Heat… literally had no legs left.. joins the warriors, shows a bit of burst and motivation, then when it really mattered, he didnt have anything left to give. His legs are cooked as hell.
What a moment that wouldve been.. old ass durant, old ass butler both on 2 years 120 million extension… talk about setting your franchise all the way back for the next 5 years..
