Almost seems like the basketball God's put the Pacers on the craziest playoff run ever.

Just so that they could absolutely crush them in game 7 of the NBA Finals.

It doesn't need to be rational. I personally hate that team. Seeing Haliburton go down, i did not feel bad for him at all. Watching their fans react to being down 20 in the 4th is like a balm for the soul.

But why do they hate the East so much this year?

Team gives you hope for a giant chunk of the game by fighting and hanging tough despite the Haliburton injury, even having a lead at halftime, only for it to be ripped away in the late 3rd/early 4th. Made even worse knowing that next year is likely lost with the Haliburton injury.

Yeah... Traumatic :)

Cavs by default probs the favourites in the east atm? Feels very wide open if we ever become a smart organisation.

i know its immature and lacking empathy but sports fandom is not real life. its entertainment. Haliburton is going to go home to his multi million dollar mansion tomorrow. Hes fine.

My hatred for the Pacers goes back to them knocking us out in 2000. But this current squad took it to another level. They are easily the cockiest team in the league and some of the things they've done to us are pretty wild(stealing Giannis' game ball and Haliburton's dad storming Giannis).

I hope they have a terrible year next year and never sniff the finals again.

It’s really tough to win a title. I’m excited the Bucks and Giannis get to play in the wide open east next year. You never know!

Nothing wrong with enjoying a little schadenfreude when a key rival experiences some heartache.

I don't like seeing anyone get hurt, even Haliburton. But forgive me if I sleep like a baby tonight knowing what happened to him.

The damn commercials on Hulu Live look crisper and better than the game footage. I know live vs not-live but still...feel like I'm watching on an old standard definition TV.

Oh and we still have a game.
