8-27 for SGA. 12 assists too, but wow - this gets it done in an NBA Finals Game 7 nowadays?

Wade would do things to him that I can't even write on here. It would be X-Rated.

Our 2023 Finals run and this year's Indy run are two of my all-time favorites, even though both lost in finals, it made the playoffs watchable.

Yup, a very similar run w limited talents.
I think the league wants this w the apron salary restrictions. The league of parity similar to NFL where a Cinderella team can make a run more often. It's more difficult to accumulate talents and build a dynasty but maybe more fun? We shall see.

CONGRATS to OKC and SGA!!

You did what KD, Harden, and Westbrook couldn't do!!

Balanced OKC team.

Love what Presti has built.

It's scary to think they could do this again next year, they're battle-tested now and have plenty of experience under their belt.

Two years ago felt like Denver would rule the league for a few more years, now these guys out of nowhere-- League is in good hands

Theyve drafted very well and getting SGA was a legendary move. Then the super vet adds...

Denver would have won this year had they not gone cheap and let Bruce Bowen and KCP go. They took OKC to 7 and the difference was depth

Jokic would win 5 rings w a team that would spend to keep talents

It was a risk for OKC too. They cut bait on 2 multiple time allstars in George and Westbrook.

Itd be similar to us trading Bam and Herro (a less accomplished version).

OKC struck at the right time. They maxed out their value in return.

The bubble heat team beats this OKC team though. I wasn't impressed by them. That version of Butler would have easily been the best player in this series over SGA. And Chet & J dub were super underwhelming

OKC is constructed very similar to what we were tbh. No trio of superstars or even duo of superstars. Just one superstar and a lot of 'depth' + 2nd round and undrafted talent playing large roles. We just couldn't get it done and ran into awful matchups every time in the finals, mostly due to size.

But we had no one with the talent of SGA either. Yes, even taking into account Jimmy. (Although, swap the casts and I do think Jimmy gets it done too. Chet + J Dub > Bam and Herro on both counts.)

Honestly kinda stings that Chet has already a ring before Bam. This boy Chet is a lucky mf.
