Indy will need to decide what to do with Turner but they will likely get an injured player exception to add to the team.

If I'm Indy I would see if the Lakers would be interested in a S&T with Turner for Reaves. I hope they don't.

maybe, but it's not going to do that much for them. it doesn't provide them bird or early bird rights, just a rented player for a year. since they are already a very deep team, it wont really move the needle for them one iota, just reinforce what they have.

Cavs as of now. Just ahead of Knicks.

Celtics also ahead of Magic.

Oh yeah, forgot about them. Magic will finish higher than Boston. They are going to be very good. Thunder Light, East Edition

I don't have conference numbers but to win the title next year I see

Thunder +200
Cavs +900
Rockets +900
Knicks +900
Pacers +1200
Nuggets +1400
Lakers +1400
Wolves +1400
Magic +1400
Celtics +1600

Bucks are 8 more teams down at +8000
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If the Bucks weren’t a dumb organization with a **** for brains coach I’d actually feel pretty good about how wide open the East is gonna be next year. If they retain most of their age 22-26 guards and nail a couple of the moves on the margins, an elite coach and healthy Giannis could get them pretty far in a depleted East. But as it stands with the doofus we have on the sidelines and Horst running the show, it definitely seems like it’s Knicks or Cavs next year.

Oddsmakers mustn't know about our game 4 lineup. We'd have top 15 odds if they did no doubt about it.

+8000 seems really low for a team with Giannis and potentially Lillard come playoff time.

They can never take 2021 from us. And that memory will age like a fine wine.

The air around me changes and I breathe differently when I think about the series. I feel the evening heat/cool in Phoenix somehow. I smell the Deer District through my mask. Then there's my whole family blurring around the house after that Jrue alley oop to Giannis. It's a peculiar feeling. And living in Istanbul except for summers, thanks to Covid it was the only time I have been able to see live Bucks games in 25 years. And I'm there for the championship? What a gift.

NBA = bad product all around.

Honestly, 2016-17 was last good season. Things have been going downhill since then.

Ok so OKC won the nba finals and they can claim that they are the best team ... but wait a minute

there was another competition this year, the NBA cup where Bucks completely dominated them. Therefore the Bucks where actually the most successful team for 2025

congratulations you all

Back to the KD trade -- I can't believe this was the best offer they got.

Yeah, I feel like doing the trade on the same day that there was a game 7 in the finals was strategic from PHX. Just terrible from their end.

I hope for them that Jalen Green figures it out, but even if he does, it’s hard to see them making the playoffs again anytime soon.

Eh, the elephant in the room is that even with a great coach Giannis' decision making just isn't close to good enough to carry us unless we surround him with 4 elite BBIQ guys, which we aren't close to having even 1 of right now. He throws away too many possessions every game, and the rest of the league has gotten so damn good at managing their macro team shot profile that the disadvantage we have there makes us top out as a first round team. With tremendous luck in 2021, and absolutely elite defense, Giannis morphing his style, and Khris going nuclear we were barely able to eek it out, and it still wasn't remotely impressive relative to other championship teams.

We just aren't even effing close now and haven't been since 2022 when Khris got hurt. Even with all the other teams hurt, we are a nothing. With Doc of course there is literally zero chance to contend, but you could trade Doc for Kenny A, Spo, Carlisle, etc and we'd still be 6th seed caliber team.

Well deserved and earned championship for OKC as opposed to Boston's hospital title. Just crazy how wide open the East looks next year now with Haliburton all but certainly done until the 2026-27 season, but like Prez said, I have absolutely zero faith that this team is gonna take advantage of it due to the coaching and front office ineptitude that we've willingly saddled ourselves with for another year.

Haliburton tearing his Achilles in the very last game of the Finals sucks, but no one can seriously think the overall playoff injury "luck" was similar here.

Aaron Gordon had a pulled hamstring and could barely move for the other pivotal game 7 OKC was in. The whole East was decimated by injuries that the Pacers came through and still pushed OKC to the brink.

Perhaps the bball gods didn't like Hali's choking celebration. Perhaps this is a way to humble him.
