I know there's not a lot of people left on this board, but I'm glad I came back here to get to share this experience with ya'll.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

"draft people first" quote from Presti worked. Character is what lead a guy to become a great player, a great teammate and a champion.

Well it doesn’t feel real. It really hasn’t sank in.

Shai's officially the greatest player in team history now?

That’s been true for a while for me.

A seven-game series is a lot. You get sick of facing each other. There are no surprises left. You know exactly what they are by the time you get done with it and these Pacers teams sent a lot of dudes packing for vacation. This is a very good team.

Yooooo! Came over to say congrats on the championship. Great young team in OKC with a bright future. Hopefully the Magic are facing you guys in the next finals.

What a gut wrenching loss for Indiana. It could have been us with SGA. The future of your franchise can change any night you step out on the court. That’s one reason this is so special.

Just soooooo happy for the championship. So proud of this great team with superstar SGA in the middle of this beautiful group of guys.

Great work coach Daigneault and the real MVP: SAM PRESTI

I just love every key player on this squad which is probably something I have never felt about any team I root. That's how you know your GM and coach made a very good job.

You cannot have your stars play with a calf strain after this, it's just too clear what's going to happen.

it worked for them in game 6. I still think the next time a guy is in a similar situation he will play (right or wrong).

McConnell apparently had 6 turnovers in the third and we turned it into 16 points. It did not feel like that, it felt like he was just getting to his spot and canning everything

I don't think his play was a big factor in game 6 tbh. But it's not about wins/losses, I think you have to protect that franchise guy from himself as an organization.

It's tough, Russ was here so long and had the hardware and had taken us right to the precipice. I think this makes it impossible to hang on to that though
