Carter Bryant, Noa Essengue, Queen, and Maluach are the pfs/c that'll be in play around 10ish. Haven't heard anything good about any of them besides Carter. Knowing Ishbia he's going to take Jace though. Can't have enough undersized SG's on the team.

I was just looking at the ringers draft guide. Maluach seems like the super big swing type pick.

He sounds super raw from what I've read (haven't watched anything on him). This draft seems like a bit of a crapshoot after ~6-7 though. Too bad we don't have a pick next year though, because that draft looks great at the top.

Thomas Sorber is the pick in my eyes.... 6'10 mobile big with 7'6 wingspan. Very smart, disciplined. Could be a Horford with Dwight like wingspan. Averaged 4 Stocks in college.

Same here, I like Thomas Sorber the most.

I hope they don't do something stupid and reach for Danny Wolf for example.

Maybe Sorber's uncle's dog walker's post man once had to drive through UoM to deliver a letter

People on reddit seem to think he'll be gone by the Spurs at 14, but there's no consensus there.

Egor Demin at 10? PG on O with Booker and Green on the wings.

Khaman Maluach is exactly the guy I want with #10.

He's really raw skill wise but has good feel for the game. Maybe just my bias but I'm generally wary of unskilled bigs with a great physical/athletic profile. I like Sorber but he might be a bit of a stretch at 10. He's not as tall as Maluach but he also has a 7'6 wingpsan, put up great stocks stats (2.3stls +1.7blks), has some playmaking chops and overall, he's a more skilled player at this moment. Slotting in with them as the 3rd C is Queen who I also like but he's also the oldest and smallest of the 3

What's your thoughts on the PGs around that range? They all scare me in their own way in my quick reading this afternoon but who knows I feel like project PGs are harder to predict than project bigs.

Yeah I don't love the PG's in this draft. I just think unless you have a young team that doesn't have many high end vets, it's really hard to bring in a PG and kind of hand them the reigns of your team because they either aren't experienced enough and you just don't know if the vets will trust them. Bigs are a little easier to project role wise early on because they are generally expected to run and jump.

I think Kasparas is interesting. I've seen him mocked as high as #5 and all the way to #14 so he could certainly be available. I like his size, I like his playmaking, I like his efficiency and I like his rebounding. I don't love his lower end athleticism but aside from that, I like his overall skill set and size as a PG in today's NBA and next to Book.

Fear should go before we pick but I also don't like him that much. Strong scorer but pretty pedestrian playmaker, especially with those 1.27 assist to turnover ratio. Typical SG in a PG's body.

Demin is another choice. Probably the playmaking ability and is the size of a tall wing which is always useful when making passes. I just don't think the rest of his game is all that complete. He's also a poor shooter, from the field and at the FT line.

Then maybe you look international and take someone like Nolan Traore who will be a stretch at #10 but might be a value pick if you package up the #29 and a 2nds to move up into the mid 20s. Really solid playmaker, takes cares of the ball, I like his pose and vision but again, the shooting and efficiency is really suspect.

Danny Wolf and Jase Richardson, you can bet.

For real, the more I watch Wolf highlights the more I like him as a prospect. Looks like a smart and skilled player who knows how to play basketball, sort of like Nikola Jokić.
