OKC put themselves in a tough position. Game 7 is always risky one, you can have injuries, getting cold on shooting or opponents hot.... they should have finished it in 5 or 6.
Will be a nice game to watch.

Me too. They fight well and would have deserve to do it with Haliburton until the end. But Congrats to OKC, they play well and will be tough to beat in the coming years.

If you're a Pacer fan, imagine losing Game 7 of the NBA Finals AND your entire 2025-26 season in the same evening.

Oof.

In their early NBA Power Rankings for next season, ESPN has the Wolves at #2 behind only OKC.

It's crazy how wide open the EC is going to be next year due to injuries. That will only get amplified if Giannis gets traded to the WC.

I definitely think there's merit to mostly running it back. Even with Durant in Houston, I still agree with placing the Wolves second in the West.

It would be just like Presti to go out and make a huge trade right after winning the NBA Title.

MIL in:
Chet or Jalen
Salaries
3-4 FRPs

OKC in:
Giannis

OKC ownership doesn't have a history of spending big so they have some very tough decisions to make trying to keep their roster mostly intact.

That seems like the antithesis of what Presti would do (I think I used that word right....I might need to restart my system)

It does, but at some point he has to start trading picks. There is no way he can use all of them.

I guess he could trade them for future picks and kick the "problem" down the road.

I honestly thought he would use picks to replace guys like Wiggins, Kenrich, etc, but then he re-signed those guys.....so I don't really know either.

A fitting end to SGA's MVP season. 8-27 from the field with 11-12 from the line.

What is Portland doing??

BREAKING: The Boston Celtics have traded Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Trying to win games. I know it's a philosophy some Timberwolves fans still don't agree with here, so it makes sense that there would be some confusion.

Jrue is a shell of his former self and has 3 years left. People thought Boston would have to attach draft capital to get out of his deal.

But they got a young expiring player to help fill next year’s scoring void AND draft picks.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
