Oh boy. AK is licking his chops. Now im even more worried he trades future 1sts for guys like Randle and PG

If they play the way they did in the last 20 games of the season then they can definitely compete and even beat these teams without trading for anyone.

It sucks, but he and the franchise was playing roulette with his body, and they lost.

Yeah, same with Tatum and Lillard this year iirc. Seems like playing through a calf injury increases the risk of an achilles tear.

true. But our best versions was when Vuc and Pat were both out and Huerter and Collins were starting. Pat coming back wasn't a huge deal, because Billy had the cajones to finally make him come off the bench! I'll believe it when i see it with Vuc though. Once Vuc was back, Collins went from starting and making an impact on winning, to barely playing. Gotta get rid of Vuc if AK is still serious about winning games.

But also don't forget, about half those games were against tanking teams that weren't interested in winning games

It will be interesting to see if Haliburton comes back 100%, achilles usually causes a permanent reduction in production. Durant was really an outlier, or maybe he did suffer quite a bit from the Achilles.

Kobe & Dominique basically ended their careers shortly after the Achilles.

Kobe (34) and Nique (32) were in their 30's when the injuries happened. Durant did his when he was 30, but he was never a player who heavily relied on his athleticism, but more so his great length.

I think with Tyrese only being 25 and not overly being reliant on his athletic abilities is going to benefit him in his recovery and I'd say he is going to back to full strength. However, I do think this injury is likely to cut his career shorter than it would have without the injury.
Why so serious?

I didn't mind the physicality. I did mind the inconsistent whistle. I don't feel like indy was allowed to be as consistently physical with OKC as okc was to indy.

Does anyone remember seeing this live? Or have it on dvr?

Viral enough that I think it must be real, but almost looks AI generated in some ways. TJ’s arm looks like it goes full on Mr. Fantastic for a sec at the moment Cason grabs him. Probably a camera optical illusion there though as the quick looks at the ref by TJ look real.

We need to bubble wrap Coby or get him to change his number asap.

He'll be safe because we probably won't make the playoffs.

I remember it clearly and couldn't stop laughing at the ref just ignoring it. RJ called it out in real time right after it happened, as it was in front of the ABC guys. The refs let OKC do that the whole series and were incredibly inconsistent with Indy.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Surgeries have improved ten fold over the the Kobe situation..

Kobe had a better surgery then Nique.
