This seems like a reverse psychology comment. Draymond is actually impressed/threatened by OKCs chemistry and this is an attempt to disrupt it. Like when Jason Kidd said Jaylen Brown was the best player on the Celtics during the playoffs.

As usual, just because a player plays in the NBA doesn't mean they are a serious basketball analyst...stars like Green, Barkley, Shaq, Arenas, Pierce and a bunch of others etc. make ridiculous hot takes all the time.
It's the same reason that just because you a great NBA player doesn't mean you will be a good coach or manager...guys like Jordan, Magic, Thomas etc. all sucked in manager roles.

The difference is that Draymond is exceptional at basketball analysis. He's also insanely biased and full of himself. So when Draymond wants he can be really insightful. Or he can do this or his Gobert trash talking on TNT.

Green is actually right with this comment. It shouldn't take OKC 7 games to dispose the Pacers.

This OKC championship didn’t move me at all but it’s still a ring and I’m just not a fan of neither team i was actually rooting for the rivals Indiana in this case ima Knicks fan.. but it’s not that they weren’t serious bout winning it’s just that the franchise is still new and doesn’t go further than Westbrook, KD and harden trio you can’t really acknowledge Seattle sonics unless you are a true fan or lived in Seattle or something

If only they were as serious about winning as Draymond Green. You have to make sacrifices to win…like controlling your anger and ego for the betterment of the team. Draymond has always been such an outstanding example of those sacrifices and should definitely continue his lecture circuit.

Yeah, if only they weren't giving interviews together, it would have been a sweep. Impeccable logic.

Clown just being clown.

The only thing I can say is, man, it's tough getting old. All you can do is hope you go off gracefully into the sunset.
The old heads use to say that the Warriors could not win as a jumpshooting team, and they did.
It's just a cycle of old and new.

Disagree. Part of why it took OKC ____ long to dispose of this or that team is that they are the 2nd youngest team to win. There's no mystery as to why it is tougher for young teams to win, you haven't experienced all the adjustments teams will make, how to fight through, how to stay focused. This finals was their 6th playoff series as a group.
It shouldn't have taken the veteran 2014 Spurs 7 games to dispose of Dallas either, but it did, and Carlisle was the opposing coach there too. It happens.
The Pacers played far better than their record for a large chunk of the season, but just like Dallas last year after the trade, people don't update what level of team they are discussing and just get focused on overall year record. Pacers were a very good and very well coached team.
