They don't have to worry about that next year and they will be favorites to repeat. He may have been more likely to be traded by this Knicks regime if he had stayed and he would have had a lot less money in his pocket.

I don't care about his money. This is about OKC. The first trade piece they'll have is his expiring. There's no way around those 4 extensions. They're going to happen and it's going to hurt OKC if they keep the team together passed next season.
