Brentford have an extremely underrated squad, the smartest thing Spurs could do is raid them.

Bryan Mbeumo aside, Nathan Collins & Mikkel Damsgaard are serious needle movers.

The more I see and read about him, the more I think he could do a good job at Spurs. I'm definitely coming around to the idea of Frank. His tactical flexibility and hands-on training and man management approach could be what this squad needs. I'm not expecting miracles but I'm certainly more enthused about the appointment than I was a few days ago, with some time to reflect.

I followed Brentford probably more than any other clubs due to amount of Danish players there and of course because of the coach Frank. He is really amazing at squeezing maximum from the squad he has at his disposal and not afraid to switch to a different formations and tactics during the same game. I will look forward how he will handle different expectations and collection of better talent than he had at Brentford. He was well liked and respected by players in Brentford, hopefully he can manage some bigger egos too.

I can't claim to know an awful lot about him, but his metrics look excellent from everything I've seen in response to this transfer:

However, it's a big leap to go from the J-League to a top European league. Wonder if we'll loan him out. Reports seem to indicate he will be joining the first team right away.

Obviously from J-League to Tottenham is a bigger step than from J-League to Mainz but we have Kaishu Sano who has made the step from Kashima Antlers to our starting XI without any difficulty last season.

From the highlights I have seen he played excellent against Al-Nassr with Ronaldo, Mane, etc. in the Asian CL.

Btw. I think other nations are kinda catching up with Europe in terms of quality of play.
This can also be seen in the club world cup where Brazilian teams are doing very well.
The difference being Europe is where the money is at.

This is a pretty good breakdown.
Damn I would‘ve loved to have him at Mainz.
Meanwhile we are buying mainly **** or grab bags…

Great find, I appreciate the information - I watched every clip. Looks like he could be a good player if he develops in the right environment.

Yeah, impressive stuff, I can see why you wanted him at Mainz. I love these kinds of signings. Completely out of the blue, high potential low risk scout signings, has Johan Lange's fingerprints (Spurs technical director) all over it.
