I'm assuming Green must be getting traded to another team. I didn't realize how much money he is making the next 3 years and he's a really bad fit with the Suns. Maybe the Nets or the Bucks if they trade away Giannis.

Sounds like KD controlled the whole market....This is why it will be hard for Raptors to trade for a superstar the players now control their destination.

It has more to do with the fact that KD is a free agent after the season, so anyone giving up assets needs to be assured that he's willing to re-sign... For example, Giannis still has 3 years left, not to mention is tight with Masai, so same probably doesn't apply.

The modern NBA has stopped super teams from forming together in LA, Boston, Miami, etc. and the parity has never been greater than before (OKC vs Indy in finals!), I will take this version of the NBA over the previous generations, where it was the same damn 4-5 teams winning over and over again. I will be happy to complain about the reffs and defense though, needs more improvement

Yeah i agree thats good....But star players now control the market for trades....I think we should focus on trying to trade for young players who have star potential if developed right....So they cost less and we actually have a chance to trade for them.

The talk with the new owners in LA, is they are going to turn the Lakers into what the Dodgers are now. This parity might not last that long.

Just like Prokhorov? Ishiba?
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Only downside to this for hunters going after a new, innocent lamb of an owner is the lack of assets on the Lakers. You can get those far off picks for a C and then there's just Reaves on the roster as anything remotely interesting to fleece.

I feel like Jalen Green has become underrated. He is not as bad as people say, still young and growing. Just need to right people around him to teach him. A vet like DeMar would help him, just slow the game down for him a bit.

I don't think Green is a lost cause, he definitely has skills to be an elite scoring option. Its just hes so inconsistent while bringing almost nothing else to the table right now.

Either he becomes an elite scorer or gets better at everything else on the court. We'll see if getting traded lights anything under his ass...

Tbh I kind of like it. Draft DQ or another big at 10. I'd have Jalen green as the 6 man. They need to consolidate, and get some size but I think guys like Allen and Brooks complement Booker well.

Booker/Grayson/Brooks/DQ/Richards
Tyus/Green/Beal/Dunn/Plumlee

Yeah you can see the skill when he is on.

It's that his lows are so freaking low

DeMar was like that when he was young so would be nice for him to play with a vet like that. And green is just more talented naturally than DeMar ever was. I'm kinda scared for him to be playing with Beal and Booker since they can be crazy chucker's which isn't what you want green to follow.
