It is so sad and frustrating that it has come to us putting our hopes in smebody like Monk. It looks like many here always find some way of defending every failure this FO goes through. Every time Riley stucks out theres somebody else to blame or some justification. I mean.. how many more times does he needs to waste golden opportunities for you to stop the blind idolatry?

Theres always something but when was the last time they really made a significant move that was not an easy deal? We are overvaluing our players, misreading the position in trades and constantly coming short.

Riley needs to understnad that it is not always swinging for a HR (Trying to get top players in trades for nothing)... some times you need to push the ball to the opposite way and get a simple hit (Offer more in trades) to be able to get something significant back.

Im at a point that I can say without problems that in my opinion Riley is living out of past success and has nothing recent to show for. Call me spoiled, call me whatever but those are the facts. Just a lot of almosts, no results and no clear direction either. Just in a limbo waiting to see what happens with the market to improvise.

Well see what happens the rest of the summer but im not counting on much now.

Rarely post anymore but needed to vent.

They drafted Miller and Saluan and already have Bridges on the roster.

The narrative being implied that that Ace Bailey doesnt want to go there on account of Lamelo conveniently omits the positional overlap between Ace the younger wings that are currently on the roster.

Very well said and 100% accurate. Even some of the most defensive Riley supporters are starting to finally see the light, it’s time for change if we’re not going to pick a clear cut direction.

Eh im not into monk myself.. im passing on that trade..

Im interested in Beal and future firsts for some of our expirings. This offseason is a complete wash, there is no one available worthy of a big trade and we dont have assets. Monk does not change ahything for us.

Phoenix has 7 firsts from today to 2030, some of them though has swap rights with other teams but its okay..

Im ready to load up on our draft capital. Beal and some firsts and we give them massive cap relief with our expirings. He will be a 52m expiring in 2026 which we can stack with picks for something ..

Trade wiggins to LAL for expirings and a first

Trade away andersen

And have Tyler in the block to see how many firsts we can get. Some team offers 2 firsts and hes gone especially if one is unprotected.

What happened to Steven Spielberg?

He got old, rich, legacy-secure, less hungry, and more introspective. The industry changed, and he didn’t chase it. He still makes competent films — just not legendary ones.

And I love Riles. He deserves a statue outside of our arena forever. But.... he lost his hunger long ago, and won't catch up to the times.

I expected Dick and Ball to finish better at the hole.

3ammy, for your own health, stay off Heat Twitter. It's a cesspool of terrible takes and clickbait engagement. Basically a negative energy circle jerk.

Lakers have nothing worthwhile to offer for Bam. Forget it.

Then how are they the betting favorite to trade for Bam?

Remember, it’s never the favorite. Hes San Antonio bound unless the Lakers flip Reaves for picks in a deal we should’ve done for Tyler
