Suns will offer Booker that max extension in a few weeks, and then these numbers will be a little different.

What team would want 5 seconds over one first? I think Flex is trying to stay relevant as an "insider"

I wonder if it's the crap swap in 2026 that is protected 1-4 otherwise it's going to OKC ie not really a FRP.

Saberestar wrote:Givony (latest mock draft):

10. Phoenix Suns (via Houston)
Collin Murray-Boyles, PF/C, South Carolina
Sophomore | TS%: 64.0

Height without shoes: 6-6½ | Weight: 239
Standing reach: 8-10 | Wingspan: 7-0¾

It's not easy to peg Murray-Boyles' draft range, with most pointing to the Nos. 10-16 range, which includes some of the most analytics-influenced teams in the NBA, Atlanta, Oklahoma City and Memphis. NBA teams say Murray-Boyles rates historically well in their draft models, thanks to his strong passing, foul-drawing ability, 2-point shooting, defensive playmaking and youth, which will appeal to several teams in this range.

Murray-Boyles' toughness, unselfishness, defensive versatility and playmaking give him a high floor, even if his lack of size and perimeter shooting might make him a situational fit in certain lineup configurations.

On Sunday, the Suns agreed on a blockbuster trade, sending Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in this year's draft and five second-round picks, sources told ESPN on Sunday.

With the Suns desperately needing to upgrade their frontcourt -- especially after losing their starting power forward in Durant -- Murray-Boyles is likely someone the team will consider heavily if it keeps the pick, along with a more traditional big man such as Derik Queen

There's too many red flags with CMB for me. Too small, not really playable on the wings (non-shooter) and while I've read about his playmaking abilities, A:T ratio doesn't really show it. He's found a way to be pretty damn efficient and productive at the college level so that's a tick but will that translate at the NBA level....

You trade away 4 FRP AND young pieces AND a VETERAN you could use for a play off run. Just after two years and more failed trades just to grant the guy you traded for a wish. he strong armed you to cripple your team and DOES not help you in the process. As incompetent this FO and ownership is as toxic is Durant.

Honestly prefer the Rockets trade over that package.

Yeah I don't like Green much but prefer him over Gobert. At least ther's still some potential upside there. DDV>Brooks because he's a better shooter but I prefer Brooks size. As for Dilly/#17 or #10/Seconds; I prefer the more premium pick and I just don't like undersized guards

That KD was toxic was well known already and our stupid FO and owner disregarded all of that.

He ran out two coaches in NJ and provided zero leadership on the Nets which should have been a giant red flag but no both JJ and Ishbia ignored all of that and pushed hard for a trade and gave up all future flexibility for a star that didn't really even want to be here. :banghead:

At first this caught my eye then I did some digging.

Kristaps Porzingis: has two (2) years left at 30 million a year and will be 31 at the end of the contract and much like Beal is always hurt.

Holiday is maybe worst contract than Beal because he will be paid at an average of $37 million a year for the next four (4) years ending with him being 38 years old.

I see exactly why Boston is trying to get off those two. Especially Holiday.

So basically sounds like what I had mentioned earlier, no team were willing to play the game we wanted them to play. This is a classic unexperienced GM getting bamboozled

After all the Beal NTC discourse, giving KD his own de facto No Trade Clause by not dealing him unless he was ok with the outgoing package would certainly be a choice

Priority 1: trade Gryson Allen for a pick…..any pick
Priority 2: draft Derik Queen
Priority 3: sign a PG
Priority 4: pull Ishbia’s head out of his a$$
Priority 5: See what you can get for Green or see if Beal is even movable. One or the other has to go. Ishbia crested this mess, now he needs to fix it with a grown up helping him make grown up decisions
Priority 6: make this team even remotely likable
Priority 7: find more priorities to fix this team and its future. Be open to doing the uncomfortable (like be open to trading Booker).
Priority 8: whatever else anyone can think of on this board

I get what you are saying but Jrue is a better fit than Beal next to Booker and Green- who are signed for three more years . Jrue is just one more year than Beal.

Maybe the Bulls deal is better

Dude if we can get Patrick Williams or Porzningis and Jrue Holiday. I would be so happy.

Patrick williams and Ball for Beal
Porzinginis Jrue Holiday for Beal +10

The bulls deal would be like Vucevic Smith or Jevon or PWill

Celtics will be either porz or Jrue - not the 10th pink. Celtics want to get under the cap so why do they need a pick

Can't see a deal being done with Boston. They are so far into the 2nd apron, they have no pathway to getting under in order to aggregate salary.
