A year ago he was out there on bum ankles trying to will this team to a series win without Giannis (and Dame). I dunno how people question his heart. Body sure, go all out.

Probably the first 20+ games he sat out and the self imposed minutes restrictions despite being cleared to play all while looking out of shape.

Buyout pickup and the deadline then. We'd primarily want him for the playoffs anyway. Maybe we could actually get a useful buyout guy this time, as opposed to all the others. This one we have a built-in on and of court relationship to potentially get priority, performance.

Lol he sucks and can’t stay healthy
Can't stay healthy..... Absolutely

Sucks when he is healthy....... Bitch please. He can play when healthy. That's just rare

Good buyout pickup?...... What kind of players do you think are on the buyout market?

Why would Washington buyout Middleton? I'm ignorant on this and curious why they would instead of playing him 33 games this year and letting him walk as they tank.

They would look to buy him out later in the season hoping they could save some money and that Khris would give up some money to make a playoff run with a contender. How much he would be willing to give up, who knows.

I'm sure they'll keep him until the deadline but after that what's the point in keeping him on the team? Suppose he's a great vet to have around but like, they'll probably just go the Gordon Hayward route and let him free off a team with nothing to play for and a lot of young guys to give minutes to.

JRoy needs to invoke his veto power

This has to be Chauncey wanting a chemistry guy like Jrue to lead the young ones.

They’ve got like 70 mil tied up with him and grant. Insane boston got off that deal and got a really nice player in return.

This trade makes no sense for Portland. They sold low on Jrue 2 years ago and now they buy high when he has a much worse contract? Baffling.

He is the one player I wish was healthy all year but I do not complain about it. You can't control that so why cry?

Blazers didn't keep him the first time they traded for him, who knows if they keep him this time.

Meanwhile Horst is probably gearing up to overpay for a minor move. :D
