Glad this confirms Reggie is not the actual devil but ony his minion.
I wonder if Hali will rething his choking sign from when we had a bunch of players down and lost to Indy.

I doubt he's that smart. Besides, after his daddy blatantly taunted and disrespected Giannis on the court, it's clear where Tyrese gets his classless attitude. He's a chip off the ol' block.

I don't wish injury on many players. There are a few I would punch in the face(him included) but, career threatening/altering injuries are not my wishes. I do think karma is a bitch though in this case. Dude prancing around when he's winning. Talking mad sh*t. Front running like a mofo. The choke sign and the smirk. The corny sh*t he pulled. His dad getting in on the act. It kinda erases any sympathy I would try to have.

Sucks for him. Too bad so sad. That's where I'm at. That's what he puts out there IMO. That's what he gets back. I would have been furious if Indiana won this series.

I don’t have to quit the Knicks and the NBA. Thank you SGA and Chet’s 8ft wingspan and Dagnaut’s squinting eyes.

He technically has a Player Option for the season after next year. Are you even allowed to buyout players who are under contract for multiple seasons?

even if they could buy him out, does bradley beal care so much about winning that he'd take on a smaller check? he might just be content with cashing his fat checks and playing 50 games a year. i wouldn't even blame him

He'd be the perfect fit in Charlotte. You know, for veteran leadership.

The Knicks really ended their reign and it was short like a leprechaun

Seriously though I am surprised by this.

Jrue will be good for that team, they need a veteran point to guide Scoop and frees up Sharpe at the 2 guard spot.

Guess White and Pritchard will split the point guard duties while Simons provide scoring to replace Tatum.

Blazers must be desperate for a veteran leader with championship credibility. If they let Simons go, I think Ayton and Grant are next.

Over the last 4 years, Simons has averaged 20 ppg on 44/38/90 shooting splits, attempting 8.5 threes per game. He fits well alongside Derrick White too.

Teams will have a harder time defending the Celtics with Simons now.

Jrue was a big part of their perimeter defense. This feels like a cap space trade.

Also I have a feeling the Blazers will trade him again for another 1st before the season is done.

They can flip Jrue into a future first round pick to a contender. They’ve done similar moves before

You know what? Even if he comes back from this, he will still act like the punk a$$ bish that he is, I don't think he will change, we all know now he gets it from his Dad so a zebra can't change his stripes. He is the rare example of someone who deserves getting kicked when he's down. Karma always come for payment one way or another.

I'd bet they keep him. Simons was the odd man out in Portland. Lead guard was the biggest position of deficiency. Holiday helps with that in the short term and, they hope, mentors Scoot and Sharpe for the longer term. They're going to try to compete next season.
