Thats a good deal for both teams.

It wont be long till teams start calling us about our expirings. We got 55.6 million worth of expirings to deal.. we can take on a max contract like Beal in exchange for first round picks, and im only considering it if its multiple firsts

Why would we want him lol hes got 3 yesrs 110 million remaining and hes 35. Its an awful contract..

With that said, Billups probably wants a Jrue Holliday leadership to lead his young team to the next level. One of the blazers problem is their lack of veteran presence like Jrue.

They have a bunch of young guys, but no one to show them the way. Its only so much Billups can do on the sideline. Now he can have a coach on the court.

Imo, it's a win win.

Blazers get a culture change and someone who will be flippable at the deadline. Contending teams might see jrue as that missing piece, so might get some draft capital. In the meantime, scoot and sharpen get a pro to learn from.

Celtics cut money. They can drop him, put him on the bench as a 6th or 7th man to still contend, our start him and get into next years lottery. No one is paying big money on his extension..except maybe the heat. Riley seems to love this archtype (rozier and herro).

Must be nice having good relationships with other front offices that do each other favors.

They have way too much confidence in their white hope Pritchard, who they probably project to move into the starting role.

I have seen Pritchard run into a corner with no where to go too many times, he does not have the ball handling ability nor the vision of Jrue.. he is a streaky shooter..

O well its a season without Tatum so its time to try anything while also getting under the tax for the celtics

I invited Pat Riley to do me a certain favor when he offered that chit sandwich for Lillard. He didn’t take it too well.

With Haliburton also turn his achilles the east is so open.
I really hope we have a plan. If not its just a terrible move not to get KD. Please make something happen

It was speculation before, but now we pretty much know that it was out of spite that Cronin refused to trade Lilard to the Heat. He was like Red Auerbach with Riley, and Calvin Booth with Stevens.

At this point is Riley making calls? It seems the rest of my he league regularly checks to see how they can improve…. Our front office depends on late 1st rounders who they bench as soon as they turn the ball over and undrafted players. When will the front office be held accountable?

When will we see strategy? A chosen path? What are we doing?

Boston gets a young player on an expiring for Holiday who was expected to need assets attached to offload his deal.

Yet Riley can’t get nothing for expiring Rozier or a salary cap relief contract Duncan?

Arrison needs to sell the team….

We need some real leadership at this point….. not living in our past glory….

Get Wade a job as GM at this point….

I highly doubt D-Wade wants to commit to such a time-consuming, stressful job when he doesn’t need the money.
