Kristaps Porzingis: has two (2) years left at 30 million a year and will be 31 at the end of the contract and much like Beal is always hurt.

Holiday is maybe worst contract than Beal because he will be paid at an average of $37 million a year for the next four (4) years ending with him being 38 years old.

I see exactly why Boston is trying to get off those two. Especially Holiday.

I get what you are saying but Jrue is a better fit than Beal next to Booker and Green- who are signed for three more years . Jrue is just one more year than Beal.

Maybe the Bulls deal is better

Can't see a deal being done with Boston. They are so far into the 2nd apron, they have no pathway to getting under in order to aggregate salary.

Exactly. While I’d love to have Krisp, I don’t see a road to it. Even Jrue for the simple need of a PG. but those big contracts suck in the new CBA.

Next year Beal is going to be a very attractive expiring contract. I’m torn.

Welp Jrue is now off the table, lol.

Wait....a young rebuilding Portland team just traded away one of their young guys AND 2 2nds for a 35 year old guard with like 3 years left on his deal?

Why can't we have one of those GMs ever? Colangolo's nepotism , Saver too cheap to pay for one and Ishbia is to ignorent or is it that the good GMs just don't like the Phoenix weather?

Hm, add Portland to the list of teams against whom the Suns will have trouble just dribbling around. Camara/Holiday is quite the pesky duo.

I’ve experienced exactly ONE championship of my home teams once in my lifetime. The 2001 dbacks. I have very real doubts I will experience another championship from my home teams. The Phx Suns are the reason I even got into sports in the first place and my first sports love. I have very real doubts, I will get to witness them lift a trophy in my lifetime.

Yet other fans get to witness multiple trophies of their teams. Crap ain’t fair.

I told ya'll Blazers were looking to move on from Simons and it wasn't going to be a hefty price. I'm a bit confused how the Blazers had to give up picks though to get a 35-year-old PG.

Yet another example of the fact that way fewer teams operate in "tank or title only" mode than fans think they should.

I've gotten 2 SBs from my Packers in my lifetime but a ton of close but not quite.

Brewers have never won one and probably never will.

NBA I grew up a Bucks fan but adopted the Suns as my co-favorite team after moving here 20+ years. Only local team I actually care about. Used to joke it was fine to have two favorite teams because they were never both good at the same time.... then they meet in the finals and I generally hated watching because I was torn and ended up rooting the Suns because my wife and daughter were. So didn't really get to enjoy the bucks championship like normal, even after following that cursed ass franchise for 40+ years.

Someone should have warned me I was adopting another cursed franchise

I wouldn't blame any suns fan for cheating and having a side piece team. Its not like we actually have any control over the dumb ass **** these teams do.

Packers are a respectable franchise. Always have been and always will be. Y’all always find great QBs too.

Great trade for the Celtics I think they wanted a scorer to fill in for Tatum next season. Not sure what the Blazers are doing though other than to be a little better defensively.

Getting Jrue to be a vet leader for their young guys I guess? Probably didn't wait to give Simon's his extension either

Luck and good management. It's hard to find good GM's. The great ones are usually retained (eg Presti) and others are usually highly sought after and may not be available (for one reason or another) when you want to hire one. Ishbia decision to hire an inexperienced Gregory has already raised its ugly heard. Also worth noting James Jones was a remnant of the Sarver era, he hired JJ because he was also inexperienced and most importantly, very cheap.

Yeah it's a great move. Simons is also expiring in two seasons so that's getting off money that would still be owned to Jrue otherwise (at $37m)

Real question. Is Grayson Allen an asset or will he be hard to trade? Will we get a good return or will we need to attach picks to get rid of him?

Ayton 25 point 20 rebounds last game against the Suns and Nick Richards/Plumlee

And Ayton is going to want a new contract so 2025-2026 season I think he tries really hard and be similar to his 2020 form.
