KD couldn't win a title as the best player on a team if he was in the WNBA.

Bro.... no.

I don't know what you did, but those numbers are off by an order of magnitude. Except KD.

For reference, the NBA had a total of 298.764 points scored this season.

Honestly, it would give him quite a boost if he's pretty clearly the best player on the team. I have him #25 all-time and I think it would probably be enough to bring him up to #20 being the best player on a championship team for the first time at age 37. It would be a strong argument that his longevity as a high level player was as valuable for winning rings as the high peak, low longevity guys like Kawhi and Wade who led teams to titles during their short peaks.

Kevin Durant should be a 6th man on a team like the Nuggets. He is wasting his time with the Rockets. The same way he’s been wasting time hopping from team to team the last few years. He also foolishly chose the Nets when it should’ve been the Knicks.

Not sure how he did it either but the list must've been numbered at some point and those digits are on the ends of all except Durants (so take the 2 off the end of James, the 3 off Jabbar and so on)

“Legacy Enhancer” sounds like a dodgy product. Needs a meme gif.

Rockets roster super overrated so I say a ring here makes KD instant GOAT.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

If he could finally win a title as his teams number one option it would do wonders for his legacy just like it would any player

The same question was asked his previous 2 teams too.

OKC, Indiana, New York, Denver, Minnesota. It's very clear the new stars, newer players are taking over and the Lebron, Curry, Durant generation is coming to an end.

The Rockets are on the rise with a roster full of young talent. Finished 2nd in the West last year. So you're statement doesn't make sense.

Rockets already on par with OKC.

Sounds like something you'd see on a late night infomercial.

He almost has to, to change the narrative and it’s his last chance. 2021 though will remain a big if. He was the best player in the league that year.

They made the playoffs one year with Beal right? That alone has to be an all time level accomplishment! Having beal there REFUSING to win at all costs, the supreme tank commander, that was a big deal.

Not even actually joking. I'm still shocked they made the playoffs after that deal. So I don't see that as a negative.

If they win it all...would he be seen as clearly better than Şengün after his next leap (which will be needed to win)?

He's already a top 20 player of all time. Winning an additional title would add to his already amazing legacy, but it wouldn't move him into the top 10 (that tier is already stacked).

Based on ESPN's coverage, 420,000 for lebron sounds a bit low...

Durant's legacy in Phoenix:
26.8 points, .527 field, .427 threes, 6.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.2 blocks, 145 regular season games

Compare that to his career:
27.2 points, .502 field, .390 threes, 7.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.1 blocks, 1123 regular season games

And in the playoffs for Phoenix:
28.4 points, .495 field, .349 threes, 8.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.4 blocks, 15 playoff games

Compare that to his playoff career:
29.3 points, .477 field, .356 threes, 7.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 blocks, 170 playoff games

That is how his time in Phoenix will be assessed by future generations.
He's been absolutely brilliant in Phoenix.
