Yeah... Clayton supposedly grew up a Heat fan?

Plus they have the #20 pick? Bye bye...

Sadly, I bet Miami gets him.

Considering he stopped working out for teams after his 2nd Miami workout he’s gone unless Miami
has someone drop to them
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Senior small guard that rises up draft board via tourney performance. Rumor was that Miami took him at Lebron's behest to get him to sign there and he went to the Cavs anyway.

*Edit* I gotta pay attention to where I’m posting. This was supposed to be in “Around the League”. My bad. Much appreciated if this can be moved, but absolutely no big deal if not.

Holiday for Simons.

Interesting. Curious to see how much Boston chooses to blow up. White? Brown? Porzingas?

Wonder if Boston tries to resign an expiring Simons or if it’s not even possible at the moment. I’m guessing that depends on what else they do.

Blazers Had to add two seconds too to get Jrue. Lol

Simons must have a really low value.

No, Miami took him to try and sway Lebron to sign with them, but Lebron signed with the Cavs anyway, sorry for the confusion.

Yeah Miami traded him here the very next year.

Napier was like 6' with a 6'1" wingspan.

Not sure its an island. I think most would be happy if he's there at 25.

Yeah, seems like a thriving metropolis.

If Miami gets Clayton and NAW this summer, they could contend in the east.

If you stack up college prospects on their freshman stats you'll be hard pressed to find four players with better stats than Jace. That's a good indicator. Also, great pedigree. I'm sold.

If Black's little brother grows to the same size as AB, I bet he's a top 5 pick in 3 years.

If Miami contends it will have nothing to do with Clayton. Rookies are almost always negatives in the first year. Even top 15 players like Durant.

After years and years of Orlando drafting high, you'd have thought people would notice this fact. Rookies are terrible. The only archetype that really provides anything of use at all are the very occasional upperclassman shooters with some defence, who can come in and provide some bench firepower on a contending roster.

In general though, rookies suck and they dont help at all. They're development projects for future seasons.

Clayton is a year older than Black. He can be a plus player next season.

Like many rookies. I don’t get this painting with such a broad brush…plenty of rookies contribute…some don’t, but if I’m drafting a 22yo, you expect some readiness. We’ve got a handful of guys on ORL who came in swinging.

I prefer Jase anyway and for every guy rising, somebody has to drop to us.
