I’m excited about them interviewing Nori. Like I’ve said before I’d rather a hot shot assistant with mike brown as lead assistant than either brown or Jenkins has head coach.

Maybe its cause the unknown has more excitement and is easier to believe it will work out than a proven coach who has failed in the past. It "feels" more risky but scared money doesn't make money.

I had been speculating on the deep Knick connections with KAT for months up until that point and the precarious financial position Minny was in with the upcoming CBA and connected the dots . I was saying for months a KAT trade was the trade that made the most sense. When KP mentioned it and HOW he spoke about it, you could tell he knew it was definitely getting set up behind the scenes. I mentioned it at the time too....

Before Woj left everyone knew Woj was a source for front offices, while Shams was the source for agents and players.

Knicksfantv isn’t a real source. They get majority of things wrong. Saying Thibs is on “thin ice” is just playing safe. They never broke the news about Thibs actually getting fired. Shams did. They’re already wrong about Bryant being a top candidate for us.

The Nori interview already happened and was happening in real time today, the sources is coming from his agent. If it was from the Knicks side this would have leaked before he was interviewed. Shams didn’t even break the Brown and Jenkins interview story until after beat reporters for the team had already wrote about it.

Maybe its cause the unknown has more excitement and is easier to believe it will work out than a proven coach who has failed in the past. It "feels" more risky but scared money doesn't make money.

Mystery boxes are a lot more fun. Can’t really nitpick over them cuz it’s all upside and no downside. plus it helps that it just feels like a lot of the top crop of coaches in the nba now that helped put teams over the top were assistants or former g league guys. Outside of the bucks with bud and the lakers fake bubble championship usually head coaching retreads fail. The assistant route also gives me hope they’ve got some new innovative ideas that another head coach might not have.
