Back in the late 80s when I first started becoming obsessed with the draft there was really only maybe one national guy who did draft coverage and then local coverage from Rick Bonnell. And it pretty much stayed that way all the way through the 90s and early 2000s.
nbadraft.net and then DraftExpress/draftcity popped up around 2004 from three guys who were realGM posters - jon g, prerak and daniel.back then it was called draftcity. That was like Such a breath of fresh air for draft junkies. As some of you know I did write for draftcity for 2 years 2005-2007. As many of you know as well they got sued by Kelenna Azubuike And his agent Joel Bell, for comment the site made about suggesting he might have been paid to play in college. As part of the settlement they had to shut down the site and post a retraction. jon g went on to start draftexpress, And the other two guys dropped out.
And then we have had an absolute explosion of draft content which really has peaked this year. I can't ever remember a year where there were this many people doing such in depth analysis on draft prospects. i've tried to post as many of these as I can find Either youtube channels or substacks, x-accounts etc...
That being said I am curious as to which draft analysts you have found to be the best at what they do this year or the most enjoyable or interesting ones that have really made you rethink some prospects?
