Its still amazing after 5 decades to see the Egals fans to still be so obsessed with anything and all things Cowboys.

Honestly I think he’s a stud ngl. Dallas usually has really good luck picking OL in the draft

Is it luck or is it good scouting? I didn't like the Guyton pick. But overall they've done a good job of building an OL.
But they need to stop drafting guys out of Michigan.

I’ll give Guyton 3 years before calling him a bust. By all reports he’s looked really good in mini camp. He still has plenty of time to prove he’s not a bust.

I scouted most of the Tackles that year in depth. I just didn't like him as a prospect coming out. I thought he would struggle early on. He's not someone I would've taken in Round 1.

Nah, I’m just saying that the process can be done perfectly as far as scouting goes and then guys can still bust. It doesn’t happen too often in Dallas tho.
I will say the eagles have mostly had success drafting OL too outside of Andre dillard and Danny Watkins but I’d say both of those selections there were issues mentally with both those guys.

The point being that they make drafting OL a priority. They see the value. Whereas some teams generally don't (Hawks).

Yeaahh that’s what I always say bro, OL or DL alllll day. I think all teams need to do that strategy which is whenever you have a chance, go get your QB, but then after that build from the inside out and keep going back to it every year, even if it’s mid to late rounds. Might find some gems in the later rounds (hello Jason kelce, Jordan mailata).
You guys are probably amongst the best at finding guys in the secondary tho

If he can do that against people his own size he might be pretty good.

Carroll was a DB coach. That's why he had so many good defensive backs. He had an eye for it.
Mike Macdonald is more of a trenches guy. Prefers to build from the inside (DT, LB).
