Oh I agree but still. NGL it's made me look at Brunson a lot differently ever since that game. He doesn't shine as bright. :-?

I'd bet they keep him. Simons was the odd man out in Portland. Lead guard was the biggest position of deficiency. Holiday helps with that in the short term and, they hope, mentors Scoot and Sharpe for the longer term. They're going to try to compete next season.

Very nice of the Blazers to become competitive just for me :) Something irks me about Boston getting our (Knicks) second round pick in 2030 though.

They're a fun ticket. They've been fairly cheap the past few years too. Moda Center has really good food.

Knicks usually come in the early spring. Just saying :D

I am 100% there. Haven’t been to a live ball game in… 8 years?!

We did get Brunson for free which was dope... but it must be really nice to be a Laker/C's fan and consistently getting over on teams.

They should have had to attach assets to get outta Jrues contract. Yet they got an expiring and picks. And they'll probably flip Simmons on some stupid team at the deadline and pick up a couple first or a nice prospect, hell probably both.

We had to trade draft picks to make cap room for Brunson but I get your point.

meanwhile haliburton's dad is off trying to beef w/ players and raised a diva who desperately wants to be the villain of the nba

wish him a fast & full recovery but i'm not shedding any tears for him - he burned every bridge on his path to this moment and it's little surprise to me when karma came to collect in his greatest moment of need

stay humble haliburton cause this is only the beginning for you since i can say w/ confidence that not a single player is going to show you a shred of mercy whenever it is you are able to step back on the court and i wouldn't have it any other way

This is a lot like how I feel about these types of situations, right down to this gilded, highly curated post being the proper, polished version of what's really up.

Brunson cooked him the whole series until game 6. Felt like Indy just mauled us physically and the refs allowed it. It was somewhat similar in the finals against SGA. They let him play SGA very physical and SGA often struggled.

I thought Simons was a borderline All Star player... how was Portland adding 2nd rd picks??

Didn't Jrue get traded from Milwaukee to Portland who didn't need him and a bunch of teams wanted him and Celtics got him and now Portland traded for him - a role player - by trading basically their best player + 2nd rd picks ???? How does this make sense

crazy what a injury does to a team now that the 2nd apron is so penalizing. BOS is basically blowing up the roster.
4-Peat! 22-25 BAF Champion Spurs:

ROSTER

Walker Kessler/Daniel Gafford/Adem Bona
Nikola Jokic/Santi Aldama/Isaiah Stewart
Aaron Nesmith/Josh Hart/Jaime Jaquez
Alex Caruso/Keon Ellis/Justin Champagnie
Steph Curry/Chris Paul/Jase Richardson
