I think he is better than just a shooter. I think in the NBA he will get to the midrange and hit shots at will and teams can't stop it, like OKC could not stop Nembhard and McConnell last night doing the same thing. He's such the obvious correct selection at 4, that we will take Knipple and Tre will become the next Booker/Harden and Kon will be an okay McDermott type and four years from now posters will be on here saying "you can't look at past drafts in hindsight" yet again, its a vicious cycle.

Please Charlotte, do the right thing. You can sign/trade for defense. You can't get someone with Tre's scoring ability. Indy and OKC have both proven that you need guards who can flat out score in stretches, and that is what Tre is.

I can't shake the feeling that we are gonna pass on Tre for Kon and this will be the 2020s version of Kaminsky over Booker.

Just another gross overvaluation of "intangibles" over pratical NBA talent.

Please for the love of Jesus Christ take this guy. If he gets stronger like most NBA players typically do, he has Harden potential

Starting to feel cautiously optimistic that Kon are going Tre or Ace.

I'm ready for heartbreak tomorrow.

love seeing that tre worked out for us. thats huge. team needs to really see his personality, maturity etc.. up close. just one on one conversations with staff. way more important than putting them thru drills like larry brown would infamously do

if Tre Johnson's *floor* is Jamal Crawford like that tweet says then take him at 4 and don't look back.

His defense is and will be a real issue.. he’s weak, his legs are not properly developed to play in the NBA, needs to work on his running mechanics and strength.

But this is the best shooting prospect in years. He is an absolutely unreal offensive player with tons of potential too.

Except Jamal Crawford had top 10 handles of all time

So we'll say his floor is Jamal Crawford wearing oven mitts

That feels a lot more like bones Hyghland Malik Beasley or Isaiah Joe as his floors.

He kinda reminds me of Miller in the sense that he is actually a really good athlete but his game just naturally does not seem to utilize that.

The right developmental system will help him use his athleticism more and open up a new dimension to his scoring.

Miller has definitely put in more effort to try to get to the rim since join us and has had a couple "take your head off" dunks. Optimistically I could see Tre developing the same way.

I'll say this... im happy with kon, There was a part of me that really was intrigued with tre. had him just slightly higher on my wish list. But more than anything I really liked what I saw of his personality. I'll be rooting for him in his career. I actually think the Wizards dodged the bullet, pun intended, With ace going 5 and tre dropping to them. I would much rather build my team with guys like Tre.

If Ace goes on to become a star, I wouldn't care as much considering all the hoopla surrounding him.

If Tre goes on to become a star, I will be very annoyed. I don't see any clear reason as to why a team would pick Kon over him, but I will love to be proven wrong.

Same boat club. I cant think of a thing tre doesn't do better than kon. I like kon its just tre really has all star potential and would have probably been the starter by December.

Hate to overreact after two SL games but man...

It's looking like this might be the case. I had a feeling that NBA spacing would benefit his game more than anybody and that seems to be the case.
