Kidd wants them to reup him because the job went from coaching a contender to the first stage of a rebuild. He’s not loyal, and based on how they moved Luka they aren’t loyal to him either. So it sounds like either the Mavs re-up or he is going to ask to leave.

We knew this already. Knicks are doing the same stunt we did with Thibs. We all knew we were going to hire thibs even though we interviewed a bunch of other candidates. It's inevitable. Mike Brown will be the next coach of the New York Knicks unfortuantely.

I don't buy any of those Kidd rumors. It seems pretty dead according to Stein.

I'd love to be proven wrong about us hiring Mike Brown, but the fact that dude has known Wes for like 20 years is something that this front office cares about the most: relationships. It just seems inevitable to me.

Right. Now the Knicks are just waiting..... He is losing his staff. Hiring others. Visited with Flagg. Hasn't said a word publicly. This really is annoying me. It makes me think they tampered and are just waiting for whenever to announce he's leaving. If not, this is just Begley trying to stay relevant.

Maybe, but fortunately we no longer have an inflexible HC who can only coach certain players in a certain style - the only goal at this point is maximizing productive talent on this roster, and Leon & Co have been superb at that. No head coach necessary (even though I agree it would be nice).

Maybe, but fortunately we no longer have an inflexible HC who can only coach certain players in a certain style - the only goal at this point is maximizing productive talent on this roster, and Leon & Co have been superb at that. No head coach necessary (even though I agree it would be nice).

Yeah. That's a plus. I'm just getting antsy watching other teams making moves. FOMO and all that. Just seems a little odd to me. Oh well.
