Brooklyn with another first rounder. They’re hoarding picks. They have to be moving up to tomorrow

Nets just traded for #22 overall in the KP deal. Now they have 8, 19, 22, 26, 27, and 36. Maybe ammo for them to trade up to #3 to get Ace?

Nembhard is the only actual NBA player that went after Roddy.

This draft falls off hard after like 15 so those picks aren't even that good

Wow. BKN stepped in and took the value for eating Mann's salary. BKN has five picks in this draft now. They have to be trading up.
BOS got only the minivan for Porzingis. Saved 22M and under the 2nd apron. If I'm them, I'm dumping more and getting under the tax and telling Brown he's out for the year.
This is a fantastic deal for ATL if they can get a mostly healthy Porzingis, which is always a question mark.

Or Andrew Nemhard, Peyton Watson, or Max Christie. We could have Luka right now.

I think Bill Simmons made a great point in the change of type of players available in the draft, especially in the later rounds. With NIL, non-lottery players aren't as eager to enter the draft.
This gives teams the opportunity to draft more experianced players with more tape (Akin to the NFL) . These are guys who don't have incredibly high ceilings, but can earn immediate minutes as role players. If we can add 1-2 of these guys, it's worth it.

That’s not true. But even if it were, I have no reason to believe Morey wouldn’t have drafted him given his success drafting in that area.

If the Nets give up a slew of picks to move up to #3, I'd move #8 to OKC for 15 and the '26 FRP.

In other news, Mann salary probably keeps them from upping the price on Grimes maybe.

the point being that it wasn't a bad trade.
There are plenty of bad moves to give to morey that we don't have to make up ones

I’ve lost about 15-20 lbs. Don’t weigh me, just trust me bro.
