You don't have any room to make this roster better and anyone who claims were better today than two days ago is wilding.

You get under all the taxes and JT has played his last game in Boston. He’s not coming back for that nonsense. Why are people so desperate for this team to suck for a few years?

Hey, at least Brad is making the moves that ainge said he had the balls to make but never did....in time at least.

I love KP. Cool dude. But he was trash in the 2 playoff runs he was here.

We traded trash for trash, but ended up saving a lot of money.

Trust in Brad.

I don't know what world you're living in pal but this team is worse today than yesterday.

It's not me who "wants" them to suck for a few years. They're doing that all on their own.

Tatum is done here. Y'all just don't know it yet.

The offseason has barely started. Can we hold off on the overreactions until after we win the chip in 2026?

‪Chad Finn‬

Walton: 90 regular season games, 28 playoffs. (In ‘87, he played 10 reg. season and 12 playoff games).

KP: 99 regular season, 18 playoffs.

Walton 118, KP 117.

Nice job Brad.

This saves Boston a lot of money and gives them a lot of flexibility.

I would have traded KP for a bag of doritos. And I don't like chips.

I loved watch KP gave Boston in the regular season. Come playoff time, he turned into one of my least favorite Celtic players ever.

Thinking about it. The KP trade probably becomes official tonight which would lend a lot of credibility to Simons potentially being flipped again with perhaps Hauser Tillman and whatever flotsam and jetsam. To get back a player with a higher salary since they can aggregate deals.

If it goes through tonight or tomorrow morning this might be the play.

To be fair, we won last year's title in the regular season as much as the playoffs. KP was a huge part of that.

What flexibility? What assets do we have to trade and get better?

What cap space do we have to sign anyone of any significance?

That's what I'm looking for too. No details yet. Hoping we keep pick 32 for this year.

Yossi Gozlan‬

This trade impacts the center market.

Clint Capela already wasn't expected to return to Atlanta. This seals it.

The Celtics now need a center. They are a lot closer to being able to bring back Al Horford or Luke Kornet while staying under the second apron.

Just a quick caveat to the "room to sign Al and Luke" thing - that actually still assumes a Hauser trade. If you keep him, you can barely offer the min to one of Al/Luke.

D White turns 31 in July and has probably peaked. His value to a contender or young team on cusp of making playoff noise & looking for stability/experience could be surprising. I’m all for stockpiling picks and future swaps as long as there are guaranteed top 5’s

San Antonio sitting there w #2 and need a wing to pair w Wemby and Fox @ PG. Boston and SA have had successful trades...#2 and some other things for jaylen?
