Brogdon is a FA and isn't likely returning. The rest of those are there though and they're all on expiring deals.

I give kudos to their new front office for cleaning up their cap sheet and giving them the flexibility to trade away those potentially desirable veterans this year at the trade deadline.

But I mean they still don't have even one single legit high end building block on their roster. They're going to be very bad until they can find some actual all-star caliber talent in the draft.

they cleared up for 100M in cap space come 26 I think. They'll probably be bad again next year but its due to youth vs overpaid dudes. They could make a Pistons like step in 26 if they hit on this draft pick. A Carrington Johnson combo would be fun to watch that's for sure.

Watch them sign Beal after a drunken night in Vegas

Lot of teams feel comfortable about idea of fighting for a title. I have this thought for a while. Feels like we are entering some "random championship era" ,where every year we will have new champion and teams will just raise and fall in terms of 3 years.

This is what the NCAA feels like. Duke, Kentucky, whatever blue blood school.. you assembled the best lineup in paper and some random team ( like Pacers) will suddenly just beat your goliath to their david.

That's why this is our chance. Forget Cavs Knicks OKC... we can take down anyone any given night with our guys

Spitballing here…

Something like Mann, Niang and 2nds for Porzingis is the best I could come up with that saves Boston money and also makes sense for Atlanta on the court.

Boston is now under the 2nd apron, but not by much. They’d go back over if they resigned Horford or Kornet to anything above the minimum I believe.

They may try to dump Hauser's $10m.

They are 4.5M under the 2nd apron now.

But now they can aggregate salaries in trades.

I’d guess they’re definitely not done.

I had to work hard to resist thinking too hard about KP...so good, but so busted up.

Return to Orlando Magic
