I think so far this is mostly what was expected (KD, Celtics cap saving moves, Magic add a guard) moreso than the craziest offseason ever many were discussing. The in-season trading was crazier than this though.

It's early though. Finals just ended. Still time for some craziness. IDK if we will get it, but we shouldn't rule it out before the draft even starts.

Pretty crazy how effortlessly these big deals have gotten dumped.

Draft should have a lot of moves. So many teams with multiple picks. Then I'd expect free agency to be very busy. Should be an exciting couple of weeks.

Instead of Brooklyn trying to trade up, what future pick is out there if they offered 2-3 of these late first..

They’re tanking next season anyways, should just be looking to add 2-3 rookies and improve their future draft capital IMO.

Love this thread for recklessly speculating on stuff.

Scroll down - it's the 2nd part.
Bulpett used to be tight with Ainge. Not sure if he still has sources as good. But he writes about the Cs a bit still.

That was actually my concern with a Utah deal (him not wanting to go), then I saw POR and wondered.

There’s been reports a couple teams want in this draft; namely Sacramento. Could see a swap of one of the 20’s for lesser of 27 1sts Sacramento owns?

I'm officially retired. You'll have to talk to my equally as smart and handsome POR replacement for all future enquiries. Assuming such a thing exists.

So Boston wants to get a lotto pick to take Jakucionis. Is that a Jaylen Brown trade?

Can we call you back about Simons if Jrue doesn’t pan out…

I think of the 3 other rumored interested suitors jrue would only be happy with dallas (vs toronto/Sacramento)

Nico is excited to hear this. Defense is all that matters.

Unfortunately, he’ll probably offer PJ and the Lakers pick.

But I thought Jrue was the consummate professional and the type of leader every team would pine over?

Sure doesn't sound like it if that article is true

Well I dunno. He is overpaid without question, in my opinion massively. He's fading fast, so if he wanted to ensure he'd always be contending, take a smaller deal. Sounds like he wants his cake, eat it, and not have it impact his weight cholesterol, or A1C

Seems like a really ungenerous reading of the article, God forbid a guy has an opinion on where he's traded

When you are a shell of your former self making 34 mil a year, should be grateful that money is guaranteed. I'd hate going to Portland personally for reasons I won't express here, but can say without much doubt that's not why Jrue is upset. If it was I'd shake his hand, otherwise quit the whining and collect a check you'd never fully earn
