I'd roll the dice and do it; bridges/ Tijan/NSJ will collectively be set to eat up roughly comparable money to what Zion is due two out of the next three years anyway, and we're not going anywhere with them. I'm indifferent to most of the prospects in the 4-7 range after cooper/Harper and VJ are off the board. We could still snag one with the #7. Finally, the future Dallas first lost some value once they landed Flagg, so I'm ok parting with it in a package like the one proposed in the article

Dumars just made one dumb trade, they are vulnerable right now. It's time to pick up the phone and call New Orleans. That franchise owes us.

Pelicans trading early could mean they’re positioning pieces to offer for a trade up IMO. Doesn’t mean they can pull it off. How would everyone like Poole as our 2?

   I’m just throwing the concept out there…gotta keep this speculation train chugging until we get firm answers.

Now the Nets are collecting 1st rounders like a sailor lining up ladies after a 6 month sailing. Could they be working to trade volume to get an extra later lottery pick, JUST to build their trade up offer? How compelling is #8 and #?

Charlotte trades #4, 2026 1st (worst of MEM/ORL/PHX/WAS), 2026 2nd (better of DEN/GSW) for #8, #10
Phoenix trades #10 for #19, #22, #36, 2026 1st (worst of MEM/ORL/PHX/WAS), 2026 2nd (better of DEN/GSW)
Brooklyn trades #8, #19, #22, #36 for #4

Good work! Not sure it’s enough for the Hornets but they might couple it with an additional deal(s) that change up the center spot (if their targets are Maluach and Jaku).

Any trade with the Nets has to have Cam Johnson coming back. Not a fan of having all these picks when the last thing we need is 3-4 more rookies. This roster needs to start adding talent that can play.

Give me Cam Johnson/#8 and I can live with it. Throw in Green to match salaries if need be.

I don't see any world where trading #4 for any quantity of lower picks is a good idea unless a quality player comes along with it

I don't really have a lot of interest in that range of prospects that the Nets own. 8, 19, 22, 26,27

Here is the consensus

19. Nique Clifford
20. Liam McNeely
21. Walter Clayton
22. Danny Wolf
23. Jase Richardson
24. Nolan Traoré
25. Will Riley
26. Rasheer Fleming
27. Hugo González
28. Maxime Raynaud

These names are fine, but more than likely aren't difference makers, especially if we are adding 4-5 rookies in potential trade down.

Heck yeah! Here’s one where the salaries work: Mark Williams, Josh Green and Nick Smith Jr. Give us 8 & 19 plus Cam Johnson.

I don't want a bunch of young guys to roll the dice on, give me my pick of the litter or give me something bankable.

Not interested in trading down just for picks.

All this predicates on who goes 3rd. Sam V thinks trade up’s could also be for VJ as much as Ace. Heck maybe Fears is the secret lust factor. But if VJ is 3rd, all hell breaks loose. Hope Jeffie is ready. He and the Nets are at least still kissing cousins. Nets want Ace bad.
