POR trades: Jrue Holiday
SAC trades: Malik Monk, Jonas Valanciunas
Sacramento gets a better fit with LaVine. Portland pivots to a shooting guard on a reasonable contract + an expiring center.

I got Monk with more value and Kings likely want to keep him in at least a 6th man role. Think the kings would want to get off DDR if they are bringing in Jrue. Don't think Portland would want DDR though so would need a 3rd team. Musical chairs of the old and unwanted.

I just view it as Simons for #20 and a different expiring guard, which I do.

Jonas taking up a roster spot is probably the biggest negative here. I would have done Simons for Monk for contract reasons.

As a Sac fan I cannot understand the love affair so many other Sac fans have for very old not what he once was Jrue.

If we were looking to get him from when he went to MIL? Of course.

Other not that player any more and he’s owed a LOT of money for breakdown years.
