Yup

I’m surprised we couldn’t do better for Porzingis. But that’s a huge difference in salary with Niang. Can’t blame them for wanting to get under the 2nd apron.

Cap space is hard to come by. That was the prize

You’re under the second apron and chance Tatum comes back in March. What are you talking about?

So what?

That roster is straight mediocre **** now

Again, it's June 24.

You don’t just pull players out of your ass with no assets.

All the players we brought in the last few seasons cost us assets.

Our only assets left are core pieces. You trade them and you’re not sniffing title contention anytime soon.

This reminds me of that **** show era from 2019-2021 where we wasted valuable seasons with garbage around the Js

Because they lost Irving, Horford and Hayward without anything in return.

Brad can't make the same mistakes Ainge did. You can't lose your cap holds and your assets for nothing. It's unrecoverable.

Talk about doubling down on 3 point shooting. I pray the big plan on center is more than just resigning Luke and Al.

Liked the Jrue trade. The KP trade was a steaming salary dump.

That leaves you with Simons, Payton Pritchard, and Sam Hauser. What are you realistically getting in a trade with those pieces?

Regular seasons wins to your hearts desire. Sprinkled with a 1st round playoff series win or two. They’ll be scrappy, he said, and that’s what matters most.

Haha I have season tickets and I’m mentally trying to prepare myself to watch Niang.

I get these trades had to happen, I’m not blaming Brad.

But we as a whole can be excited by Simons. He may be atrocious on defense but he’s only been with one team and he looks damn good at putting that orange thing in the hoop. The upside is there.

Niang has been bounced around from team to team. He’s older and we know what he is. I’m shocked if anyone is excited to watch Niang in green.

I honestly am not sure what everyone expected. KP often injured and expiring. Teams knew Boston wanted to shed salary. There were a lot of teams interested because it was a fire sale. Most on here couldn't wait to walk KP out the door during the playoffs.

The deal gives Boston flexibility to make moves for the future if they are there without the restrictions that come with being in the 2nd apron.

Brad didn't win the trade by a landslide, but it was decent enough in the circumstances. I much prefer having Brad make pragmatic choices than Danny who while excellent and we have to thank for a lot, would bite his nose off to spite his face.

So, the next Big News is how do they acquire turnover prone Mr. J with the 26 percent assist rate in the the Top Ten of the Lottery?

Hauser, 28 and 32? Hauser, 28 and a future First?

White for a Top Ten pick?
