It was discussed here, the Magic were adding Cole Anthony. If you want to believe that ORL was going to send that much with the hope that they could resign Coby, you go right ahead.

Porzingis traded to Hawks.

Man, what in the hell are WE doing? It seems like there are deals-a-plenty to be had out here but AK is sitting on his rear end doing nothing!! I’m usually pretty patient when it comes to these things but it’s really starting to infuriate me.

Celtics with some financial wizardry to sneak out of the second apron. Longevity and availability is increasingly important, and Porzingis going to miss long stretches of seasons for the rest of his career. He was pretty good for them as a member of the When Healthy starters, sure.

With Tatum down, we're already seeing how a competent FO moves around assets. I expect them to continue to plan for 2026 while next season can still probably remain a top 6 team in the maimed and gutted East.

The rumor sounded far fetched to me. But so does trading 4 picks for Desmond Bane, so...

You have to have players people video valuable contributors to winning. A top 4 seed ros ters can appear more valuable.

Look at Grant Williams and Marcus Smart

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

So… do we have a shooting coach? Or did we just eliminate that position completely?

I've never been want to be envious of transactions just for the sake of it.

I don't see how being involved in any of the transactions thus far would have made us better. The Celtics clearly had a initiative to cut salary, but neither of the players they traded away are players we should have targeted anyhow.

I'm actually glad that the Bulls are taking their time and not making irrational moves just to be slightly better, and giving up draft capital in the process, because these types of moves are exactly the types of moves the would probably have salivated being a part of to tread water, but the fact that they aren't is promising.
Why so serious?

Combined with the Kasparas rumor, I wouldn’t be surprised if Celtics hard pivoted and tanked. That 2026 Boozer draft is promising. Horford’s time is up, Brown just had a knee scope, and Tatum’s out next year.

What they could do is send White, #28 (Boston drafts the pick), 2026 FRP (top-5 protected) to Utah for Collins and #5. Or a similar idea with NOP and #7, except they reroute Poole.

I wonder if there were any discussions between Orlando and Chicago...? Coby isn't as good as Bane, but he'd cost less in a trade.

Read a tweet that I can't find and don't know who the source was, but supposedly Orlando offered two 1st round picks, Jonathan Issac and another player for coby.

Articles are out there with the same info

https://fadeawayworld.net/nba/chicago-bulls/chicago-bulls-magics-massive-offer-coby-white

I thought the tweet was fake when I read it because I didn't see any mention of it on this board at all.

Would you do that trade? It depends on the picks for me. I'm not big on Issac.

Most deals happen on draft day...not that I'm expecting much from the Bulls.
This much happening pre-draft day is interesting.

Why are we itching for the Bulls to make moves? So we can be minutely better, and get back in the play-in? I'd much rather focus on a young roster, and be bad again next season, because I'm highly interested in next years draft class, which looks like star potential players in the top 5.

Brooklyn w/ another 1st! Are they gearing up to move up and take Bailey?

The Nets used their cap space to get into this deal and ended up with the #22 pick tomorrow (now they have 5 total).

I know the Bulls don't have cap space, but I'd like AK to make a move like this using one of the teams expiring contracts (I say that and don't think he'll actually do it). Also, I don't necessarily mean a pick in tomorrows draft. A future pick (or picks) are fine.

I think they definitely want to. Not sure if CHA or UTA want to trade a #4/#5 pick for a #8 and a bunch of low end 1st round stuff.
WAS won't deal because they want Bailey themselves.

Givony has said CHA is open to trading down if VJ is gone, which is likely now. So maybe
1. Flagg
2. Harper
3. VJ
4. Bailey (Brooklyn)
5. Kon
6. Tre
7. Fears

You think the Bulls might have a top 5 pick next year?

I'm sure AK will continue to push for the play-in/playoffs again.

If they can't move up the Nets could still end up with interesting prospects to build with.

Fleming, Coward, Riley, Baringer, Clifford, Saraf, Traore, Raynaud, Sorber, etc. Plus whoever they pick at #8.

I’m not sure if it’ll definitely do much. Porzingis is an impact player, but he also misses a lot of games.
